Pleasant small farm with some domestic animals, a few wild rescues, two wolf dogs and a considerable number of birds of prey and scavengers. The show was interesting and at times a little exciting. Perfect size of establishment for small children. Please spend more of the €10 entry fee on the animals Visited here on a weekend in May 2022. The level of animal care and wellbeing is poor, particularly the farm animals. The horse was by itself in a grassless field with no visible water and only a shambled lean-to for shelter. It wasn't wearing fly covers so had flies in its eyes. to be fair, the donkeys looked pretty happy, the pen looked full of grass. Perhaps move the horse to be with the donkeys? One pen had a horned goat and a sheep. the goat kept ramming the sheep in the side. I saw the ducks hiding behind the blue feed barrels just to find shelter from the sun - please give them some shade The poor fox was terrified - just over the path were 4 wolves watching it. the pens are small. One pen is full of pigeons and a singular distressed pheasant (it kept running up and down the fence). In the birds of prey area, one in particular was flapping and looked highly distressed- I was told by a keeper the gets water after it's performed. We didn't stay to watch a show so cannot comment on the show itself. The path around the is not suitable for pushchairs, elderly guests or anyone who can't climb a steep path. Its overgrown with weeds - the pigeon pen has nettles between the pen and the path so tall that the pen is hidden (see photo). There's no staff around - we saw three members of staff in the payment kiosk but they were busy showing each other pics on their phones (while one was supposed to be serving us!). There was staff in the wild area , but we didn't see any other staff in the park. We tried to find some one as we left to 1. Speak about the conditions and 2. Hand back our feed buckets but couldn't find anyone I do apologise. Google has pestered me for two weeks since I went online to look up your lovely with all intents on visiting, hence my comment. I did not mean to offend the at all and look forward to visiting in the near future as it looks amazing. I find your reply quite harsh. Kind regards We were visiting my parents who live half an hour away took us here for a family day out, which includes two young children. We visited on a Wednesday and being a weekday we vertically had the to ourselves. The is located in a lovely location on a hill side with the aviary’s at the top of a stone footpath and amongst the woods. It My mum is in a wheelchair and because of the stony footpaths it was very difficult for us to push her on it and took two of us to pull her up the hill to the aviary’s which luckily was worth it once we got up there. There is a great selection of birds of pray and other in the but for us the aviaries could have been bigger but all the looked healthy and well looked after. The aviary show was excellent with a good verity of birds flying around, skimming over your heads. An excellent human size animal to visit. Don't judge by the entrance appearance, the is taken care by passionate people and the focus has been put on the environment ! It is possible to get into some of the pens and touch the inside. A wonderful falcon show is also included in the ticket. Lots of information, we learned a lot! We came with 5 children age 3 yo and less, they loved it! Bring in a snack as there is no shop. I can only recommend it! Great place looks a bit iffy at first but once you start looking around well worth the visit of prey display was outstanding Ce mérite d’être visité. Pleasantly surprised how much was there to see! The farm area needed a bit of TLC but the were friendly enough. Would recommend getting there for the 11:30 rapture spectacular as this was pretty amazing, the birds are free and swoop in close to you so a real hands on experience! Thought it was very good value for money and would return again 😊 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
