Real treasure. Discovered in 95. Discoverer died a few days later showing others. Very accessible experience. Lift to floor then flat walkway. Guides very good and fantastic rock formations accented by some great lighting choices. A must see if you are in the area. Great that it's wheelchair accessible! And a lovely, albeit sad, history of the discovery. Stunning place to visit, very well run. Beautiful caves, eroded by a subterranean river over the course of thousands of years. The is given by the guide in French only but translated audio tours are available for one euro a piece. Would definitely recommend going if you like minerals and caves. The is fully wheelchair friendly. Nice original lighting This is a great visit. Absolutely beautiful system and easy access. Large enough for anyone who suffers in confined spaces. Audio support for most languages available. It is very modern with a lift used to access the caves. Staff very friendly. Recommend it for all of the family and especially disabled individuals who might not have a chance to visit due to access issues. This is one of the only ones in the world that has wheelchair access. A very well preserved cave. Accessed using an elevator which brings you 25meter down. From there, there is a flat walkway accessible with wheelchair and stroller. The walkway is 300meters long and gives a fantastic view of all stalagmites and stalactites and the still visible running underground river. A visit well worth! Great experience with very knowledgeable staff. Small groups of 24 is nice. Wheelchair accessible! Suggestion to organizers: please accept digital cheques vacances (it takes a cell phone ;-)) and allow for online reservations. We visited the in early August. We didn't have to wait too long and also didn't need to book. The itself is great - really interesting formations and fascinating history. It's certainly worth paying for the audio description in English (though I feel these should really be included FOC, though €1 isn't awful) as the guides generally only speak French. Good parking onside and the attraction is easy to find. So well done, good English electronic guides, easy layout, beautiful and cool in super hot weather! Friendly staff, fascinating experience, would definitely recommend! Brilliant! What a find, excellent guided with English audio for only €1 in addition to ticket. Shop had excellent selection of crystals for all budgets and I bought a book about the also available in multiple languages. Check times before you arrive or book prior. I didn't and the next was two hours later, but we went into Tourtoirac for lunch so everything worked out perfectly. Excellent visit today with my family and disabled mother in law, who was able to access the entire in her wheelchair with ease. A very well thought out and designed route, congratulations to the designer. English Audio guide was combined with the hosts talk and worked very well.
