The HB food selection was limited and comparatively worse than in other places of this type. The spa and massages were awesome. Hence dropping my rating from 5* to 4* , otherwise it would be more of 3.5* 2019: Spacious rooms, well equipped spa, delicous food, friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get away from daily routine and relax Amazing place to unwind, been there last year with my Mother. We had a great time, the level of pampering was outstanding. Great food, great massages, beautiful pool and lovely views. Definitely worth visiting for 2-3 nights. Very nice atmosphere and Relaxing vibes, exactly what you need for having Great time on Christmas holidays along with your family and friends!!! Rating and internet photos do not correspond to the reality. I didn't read negative reviews before the trip because of the high rating, and that was a big fault. Could stay only 2 nights out of 3 booked. Luckily I didn't book it for the weekend with overrated price. The greatest disappointment was food. Meals at the breakfast are uncovered and flyes are sitting on the food!!! I asked the waiter about that - the answer was "it is what it is". Then I talked to administrator, she looked concerned and told me she'll manage it. Next morning - still the same. No one cares. Restaurant menu seems to target Warsaw restaurants (in terms of prices) but nothing special about the taste, not worth the price at all. Once they even burnt the pork chop and served it with no doubt. The place is dirty and badly maintained. There was spider web all around the corners in my room, stained curtains, dusty windowsill. You can find mold, peeled-off doors and furniture, falling tiles in the spa-zone. I would not recommend this place. Very nice hotel in a huge park area. As seen in the picture the buildings look really nice and made the impression of a somehow recent renovation. The rooms are fine with A/C and heater, nothing out of the ordinary but comfortable. The breakfast buffet is very nice as well. Sometimes communicating in English can be challenging but everyone is motivated to help you. Always friendly and helpful staff!!! There is plenty of breakfast food!!! Very Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas day too...Thank you for everything Talaria!!! See you next year!!! We went to Talaria for a Day SPA Special (no overnight stay). Pros: - no other guests in the SPA until ~4pm (we went on a Friday, I suspect that weekends get much more busy) - very nice building and surroundings - lovely pool, jacuzzi, steam room and a hot sauna (no information about the temp, but I'm guessing it was ~80C) - quality massage/facial Cons: - The lunch was terrible! Sadly, we couldn't even choose our meal - Choice of saunas is pretty limited - Service is very mixed Great place to take a step away from the business of the city in a calm and relaxing area. Many activities and amenities available on site. The Spa is amazing, and the rooms are fabulous. And the food ! God the food was exquisite !!! I was planning my next trip even before I checked out. Highly recommand. Short Ver. – Excellent facilities, generally food and great massage sessions. As someone who experienced a spa retreat for the first time, I enjoyed how I could relax at my own pace. However, if your visiting Warsaw and want a spa retreat in the countryside, I’d learn some Polish and find a room that ensures you get a good’s night sleep – 7.5/10 (gave 4 out of 5, by giving the spa the benefit of the doubt because of the jacuzzi). I visited Talaria Spa and Resort with my girlfriend and her family after a heavy weekend at a polish wedding the day before – so the idea of a 3-night stay at a spa was perfect. If you are not from Poland (like me), it’s about a 1.25 hour commute from the centre of Warsaw – so towards the end of the outbound car journey, I had the chance to see the beautiful Polish countryside, of which, the spa was a part of. They have an open grounds area too, which you can stroll around, and moulds quite well into the countryside. But there are a couple of things in the grounds that ruins this aesthetic look, specifically the Perla sponsored parasols and children’s multicoloured outdoor playset. We stayed in the dog friendly section of the spa, which is located at the extension of the main building. The rooms were lovely, spacious and warm. My only downside is that we were staying close to a nearby farmer, who had donkeys, horses, and a loud siren that went off a couple of times during our stay. The resort facilities were excellent, a pool, several saunas and steam rooms, and I think there was also a tropical room (we didn’t experience this though). With these great facilities, it was a shame at the time of the visit that the jacuzzi was not in use. The spa had called us to inform us that (at least on the first day) it would not be in use, and we clutched onto the false hope they were giving us, saying it would be back in order every day we stayed – but it was still out of order. The massage sessions were also very good. I’m no expert, but as this was my first spa experience, I can objectively say it was relaxing. However, it was difficult to understand what the masseurs wanted to do in the sessions – as they did not speak much English. For example, I had two sessions – the first, the woman kept repeating “okay?” and I would have to assume what she was talking about. The second, the woman got google translate out which was an improvement, but the robotic voice ruined the atmosphere a bit. The other staff spoke better English, but just enough to get by (which is fine by me). Finally, the food overall was good. Each morning, we would have a buffet style breakfast with a selection of cold meats, awesome polish bread, a variety of cheeses and honey sourced from beehives near the spa (I think). During the day/evening, the restaurant would provide food and alcohol a la carte and for the first couple of days, the chicken-based meals were excellent. However, the biggest disappointment of the food (and whole experience) for me was the steak tenderloin, the most expensive dish on the menu (about £19). Having ordered my food at the same time as the guests, it took an additional 15 minutes after everybody at the table finished their meals for my meal to arrive. The meat was rubbery and lukewarm. When I asked the waitress why it took so long to prepare, she just said “kitchen”. Amazing place, feeling like being in a castle 🏰 Big territory with beautiful nature, wonderful spa and caring staff 🫶🏻 Looking forward to my next visit to Talaria Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
