Great fishing! Went to White Bishop today. its full of fish! I went at Bishops Bowl, on the lake opposite the shop, and wow!! - what an unbelievable day! Fish after fish, nonstop action. I even broke my personal record – hooked the first carp within 10 seconds, before I could even set my rod on the rest. It carried on like that the whole session – I honestly don’t know why people bring 3 rods, I couldn’t even get a second one in the water because the bites on the first were constant! The guys next to me on pellet wagglers were also having great fun. I ended up with a dozen carp, all double figures, and even managed to land two at the same time – pure madness! The fish weren’t monsters, but you never know what could be hiding in that water. The tackle shop is brilliant too – much better stocked than my local one in Banbury. Honestly, the best day’s I’ve had so far. I’ll definitely be coming back! Nice lakes good cafe friendly helpful owners Lots of lakes to choose from, decently priced and has a shop on site.
