The across the hill boasts lots of lovely views. It’s certainly a popular spot for dog walkers. Good place to round, now benches have been installed around the site you can sit and take a leisurely walk, unfortunately some benches just look at hedges rather than the landscape, but you cannot have everything. Amazing place with fantastic views and just perfect for a 1-2hr dog walk. If your lucky you can spot a rabbit or two. I would recommend going around sunset for the best experience. There are benches dotted around the trail. Borough Hill used to be Daventry's best kept secret for dog walkers and families alike. Now with the expanded car park and budding orchard area next to it as a staging ground it sees hundreds, if not thousands of feet walking the excellent pathways around the hill highlighting the local history. There's no cafe or public toilets but as a there's not much better in the area. Absolutely beautiful place for views, dog walking, history information & small woods. Love this place so much!!. Wildlife including deer, pheasants, woodpeckers, red kites, buzzards, sometimes the odd fox and even a hare!. Introduced the new puppy to a run around Borough Hill.
