Been a few times for events and parties . Good size room and easy to find . Parking is better on near by roads as better lit Great place, always like going, when I dance with the Warwickshire rock and roll club, friendly staff would recommend There to see The Bonnevilles. First off, bar staff were quick and efficient - good job. Really enjoyed both bands, not seen either before. Looking forward to return. Only -ve was the really drunk lass who fell into people, but I'm sure she had a great time too. Great venue for a small convention. Lots of space. Good bar with friendly staff. Lots of room for tables for our games and space outside for a breather and a view down the river. One fantastic asset was the small kitchen we could use to make a cuppa and grab a biscuit. On this occasion we only visited the first small event room (40 guests comfortably). It has been carefully fitted out with uplight lighting. Has its own toilets - which was a nice surprise to us. An adequate dance and a fully functioning bar (which takes card and cash payments). A very nice place to hold a small event or celebration. The main ground holds many times more guests. Great atmosphere and live music and tv sports - especially Gaelic. Lovely venue upstairs for events, good toilets and great space all round. Free parking too. Great club. They have some great bands playing at times. Beer great prices especially with membership card. Pool table, darts and juke box. I've been attending salsa classes and social dances at this since 2010. Although the dance isn't very big and a long thin, less than ideal shape, there's generally a good atmosphere and the bar is cheap. There's a well attended salsa on Sunday nights and I went there tonight together with a handful of dancers I'd encouraged to come from another club. Although it's often rammed it wasn't too busy but there was a problem. The was incredibly sticky like it had had some anti slip treatment. Everyone was complaining about it. My friends dance shoes actually came off her feet and stuck to the floor. I felt like my suede soled shoes were getting ruined. I mentioned this to the barman but sadly he was just very rude. When I said the was so bad it wasn't dancable he just said "well don't dance on it then". He then told me that no other clubs had mentioned it only salsa but that he would raise it with the committee. Neither of these approaches is any way to speak to a customer or deal with a complaint. I used to organise salsa events and, in a similar situation in the past, just moved an entire class to a different venue Fantastic venue for parties. Great community space providing a much needed service to the community. Friendly/warm/kind staff. Good prices on alcohol. Clean and comfortable environment. Perfect spaces for live musicians on 2 floors. I would never normally leave a review like this but the food here was simply horrible. I’m not a fussy eater at all, I’ll eat practically anything but the food that we ordered here made me feel sick and I couldn’t even make it half way through before stopping. On top of that it was very expensive. The drinks were okay, but because of the food I have no choice but to give this a one star.
