Plenty of terracing and covered seating. The was fine, but as we were segregated. There wasn't much to choose from in the way of food and drinks, and it was very busy at the one eatery van they did have for us. Staff there was very nice and easy access from the coach into the ground. To be honest the and surroundings are a bit of a dump... However the volunteers here make the experience a different level. They work with what they have got and go above and beyond to create a good experience. Some fan trouble has been reported here in 2022 but this seemed to not exist on my visit but I was made aware of it before attending. Segregation was in place at the time. Food served here was good value non league grub Nice and friendly staff. Away fans are segregated unfortunately and a one steward in particular was quite rude. Director delivered our fans a few pints though which was nice! Great facilities. Enjoyed watching the match on a Saturday afternoon. Bar prices are reasonable and friendly staff. Will be back. It’s not flashy, but it’s got character—terraces, tight pitch views, and a loyal fanbase that brings the noise. Went for a National League North match and the atmosphere was great. Entry was quick—about 15 minutes from arrival to seat—and the new layout changes made a big difference. Home fans can now gather behind both goals again, which really lifts the energy. Away fans have their own section near the John Nicholls Stand, with clear segregation that keeps things smooth. Facilities are basic but clean. There’s a new Riverside Grandstand with extra seating, and the club shop’s been moved near the entrance, which makes grabbing merch easy. Food was standard—burgers, chips, tea—but it hit the spot. Staff were friendly and the whole setup felt well-run. Parking’s easiest at the nearby railway station, and it’s free on matchdays during certain hours. Just check the club site before you go. Old school football experience, including a completely empty pub, and a drunk psychopathic pensioner on a walking frame who gave us some abuse using very strong language. The is small, not very well maintained and there are two portaloos (or were when we went). You get to the via some narrow paths by the train station which are perfect for trapping opposing fans together. On the plus side there is parking close to the ground. Lovely venue ample parking, large hall with dance floor. Able to cater for small too large events.
