We never thought we would be able to feed Highland apples whilst hearing all about the herd and their antics! We opted for the tea and weren't disappointed - it was sumptuous, and again, so nicely done. Highly recommend! We went last Friday, by far the best farm I have ever been to! The owners were really passionate and dedicated to their animals. My nan had marked assistance when booking and they were absolutely great with her, she was taken between fields in the 4x4 and they were very patient as I helped her in and out. The Highlands were extremely friendly with a large appetite and inquisitive during the tea experience. My favourites were Boris and Anna. The talks were fascinating and they know their animals very well, especially being upstaged by Alfie. Also, a couple of cute calves. Would absolutely recommend. They deserve every penny! Note, although assistance was great it is still difficult for people with significant walking difficulties. Could also do with a little bin for the tables. First of all the staff were so welcoming and friendly. They were so knowledgeable about the breed but also about each individual cow. We enjoyed meeting all of the and feeding them. You can stroke them, feed them and have a selfie with them, a truly immersive & hands-on experience. The tea was also a great experience. To sit in a field full of these beautiful animals was fantastic. Would highly to any one. WOW, this has got to be the best Highland Cow on the country. Colready Highlands is an amazing experience. Led by the fantastic and very knowledgeable staff, we were treated to a wonderful introduction into the cows, their names and their history. We when got the opportunity to stroke the as well as feed them apples. We choose to also do the tea, which meant we loaded up into a seated trailer, for Tea, sandwiches and cakes in the field among the cows. It’s also to note that the sandwiches were prepared by a local bakery in Brackley, so Colready is also very much into supporting the local community.
