Just had a fantastic time at this small Bodegas, really informative in the way is made on the island. Oh, and the was worth it as well. Left with a couple of bottles Great wine-tasting experience! We thoroughly enjoyed the talk and the various wines. The setting is - in the “cave” which looks like a James Bond villain hideout! Stunning winery in the heart of the near Lajares. The recently built cave is breathtaking when you enter to spend time their sampling the wine. Finishing up with more on the terrace with views. The hosts are lovely and couldn’t make you feel more welcome. Definitely recommend. We had an today led by Alessandro. Really interesting and different to other vineyards and was good to learn how they deal with the conditions here which sound challenging. The in the underground cavern was great and the paired with the food worked well. Highly recommend the experience. Would be keen to come back again in a few years and see how things have evolved. The (Guided accompanied with Conatvs and local products in Spanish) was absolutely fantastic! After a brief explanation about the production of different and the unique types of soil found on Fuerteventura, you get to see the winery itself, followed by a of various paired with Spanish delicacies. The great thing about this is that it’s not too long, so before you know it, you’re already enjoying the session. It’s very accessible, and the staff are incredibly enthusiastic and friendly. All in all, just an amazing experience. On behalf of the whole group, thank you very much for this wonderful tour! We visited Bodega Conatvs last week during our stay in Fuerteventura and it was truly unforgettable. This was an extra special occasion for us, as we had just gotten engaged the night before, so this visit was our celebration. The was absolutely amazing. Diana, our guide and expert, was phenomenal, incredibly knowledgeable, detailed and passionate about the wines. She also had a wonderful sense of humour, which instantly made us feel relaxed and welcome. We loved the three we tasted, each paired beautifully with local products that complemented them perfectly. Afterwards, we enjoyed a drink on the grounds, taking in the breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. While the may be expensive, the vineyard doesn’t produce that many bottles so that reflects in the price. It just makes it even more special to have a one of a kind bottle of spectacular wine! From start to finish, it was an experience. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the island! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is such a wonderful jewel on the island. A beautiful property with an room built into the volcanic rock, with the rock itself on proud display to give you a feel of the environment in which these vines grow. Conatvs is Latin for the act of trying, and is truly representative of the effort the winery and their vines exert to grow in this dry, volcanic environment… but the result is some extraordinary and unique wine. I’ve visited wineries around the world and this one is truly unique. I strongly recommend the tour, I had a in English with Paula who was both hugely knowledgeable and a generous host. It finished with me sipping on their patio in the sunset, gazing out over the vines. If you are on Fuertaventura and have an interest in wine, you must check this out. WOW, just wow. Best we’ve had (and we travel a lot!) Super nice staff, super cute boutique winery, excellent — the red we tried is so unique, never experienced a volcanic, smoky like this. It was fascinating to learn about the soil, grape varieties, and growing methods required to produce in Fuerteventura, the driest and windiest in the Canary Islands. A++++ all around, the guided visit is a must when on Fuerteventura. Have booked winery and testing. Was great overall, all stuff was very friendly, explained details about vulcanic growing as well as production. Amazing with unusual approach - first we had to guess tastes and analyze by ourselves based on our feelings and then explanation followed. They also sell very nice local products. What an experience, we did the and loved it. It was interesting to see how the vineyard was different to others, to take into account the different conditions on the island. Also, the building was stunning - like something out of a James Bone movie! The itself was great too, our guide was so knowledgeable and gave us lots of new insights and tips on wines. We would highly recommend visiting while you're in Fuerteventura. Izabel is so nice I was alone and she makes me feel at home. Nice wines, nice people, beautiful place. Try it! Trust me. It’s how vineyards grow in this place.
