Very calm and refreshing, sorrounded by woods and nature. There is a hiking trail from Razloge; it's ~2 km long with an average gradient of 14%. You can pay the entrance fee in Razloge, since this is a part of the Risnjak National Park. There is also a circular trail, but we didn't take that route. It also seems not that hard, especially when you're in such a magnificent place. It is one of the beautiful place in Croatia. You must see this👍🏻 Calm and amazing😊 There are a lot of fishes, birds and real nature🌳🌿 Also you can have a picnic there. Beautiful and Refreshing Experience at the Source of the Kupa River We visited the Kupa River source in Risnjak National Park via the entrance at the village of Razloge. The access road to the parking lot is paved and well-maintained, making it suitable for all types of vehicles. Parking is free, but there is an entrance fee to the National Park, which is fair considering the preservation of the area. At the Razloge parking area, there’s only one picnic bench under a small shelter, so if you’re planning a picnic, bring your own setup — it might already be taken. 🥾 Hiking: There are a few different trails leading to the source. We took the steepest and fastest one — I didn’t find it too difficult, but it could depend on your fitness level and weather conditions. It’s a short hike, surrounded by peaceful forest, but quite steep in parts. 💧 Bring bottles: The water at the source is clean, cold, and drinkable — a real treat! Swimming is not allowed at the source, and there are no extra facilities on the trail we chose. 🦮 Dogs: Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. 🌿 The source itself is stunning — calm, crystal clear, and surrounded by beautiful untouched nature. We saw a sign pointing toward a nearby restaurant via another trail, but didn’t explore that route. ⏳ While the place is definitely worth visiting, it’s not really a full-day activity — more of a half-day trip or a short nature escape. Still, totally worth the experience if you’re in the area! Very beautiful place. It's easy to reach it from the "Planinska kuca Kupari" and the "Tratinčica" restaurant and rooms near the village of Hrib. The very narrow but paved road from the village of Hrib will take you to the free parking lot near the restaurant. Ignore reviews about a very bad road full of potholes. July 2022, the road is in good condition (but is narrow and winding), it has obviously been repaved recently. From the parking lot, it's roughly 45 minutes - 3.5km. The path is nice, scenic and easy. Went in October 2022, the forest is magical, painted in autumn colours, with plenty of mushrooms🍄. From Razloge village, it takes around 25 minutes down to the spring (and a bit more to go back up). Absolutely stunning. Not easy to get to, but totally worth the effort. Amazing nature. No filters needed for the photos ;-) magical place. Nice walk from Tratinčice. Nice goal but uneventful way to get there. Only possible from Razloge as the bridge is out, and looking at my pictures will be out for a while. That's a shame, since the trail from Hrvatsko following the river was/is really nice.
