It is good for small children. First three meter there are small rocks, and after that it is Sand. There are bars on every corner, two small bakeries, one small shop in the camp and one boot with accesories. The is not very crouded and you can find shadow tge whole day. Would reccomend to visit this beach. It is OK. For my opinion to many people on one place. The is nice and also good for kids and families. More than that I wasn't impressed. The beaches in Ostro are good, mostly pebble but there are also concrete, sand and rock parts. Sea is pretty clean and at times has a stronger current. Nothing to terrible. There is a bar, Ice cream bar, bakery shop and a few bars around the beach. Nothing to fancy but affordable. It can be crowded on weekends but there is usually a lot of space for a big party. In essence it's family destination, a quiet place. I gave it 3 starts cos it lacks parks, playgrounds, parking and it all has a run down look. Big part why it looks like that is that local administration doesn't really give a damn about tourism and if it does, you don't see it. Baš je oštro! Great stop between Pula and Zadar in Croatia. Pretty large campground and more pricey than we usually pay, but they have all the amenities. WiFi worked great, restaurant with a great sunset view, the was super crowded though - only reason for 4 stars. There was a concert until 1am the night we stayed there (not sure if it was on the campground or just so close) and it was incredibly terrible and miserable as it was the first stop of a two week trip. I thought they were never going to stop! We hardly slept. But we overall enjoyed the campground. We often go here throughout the year. Nice walk along the see, riding bike, scooter. Little playgroung for children. Should be bigger. is children friendly (it is not on pictures. It is with sand.) The on the pictures is 1.5 minutes away from the for kids. Nearby, in camp, is small shop. You can spend a day, from morning till evening od the beach.
