Njivice is one of the best beaches in Krk Island. I liked the different options for entering to the sea. You can either choose pebble or concrete one. There are paid sunbeds and umbrellas from the Sunset Bar. is very clean, turquoise blue and green. You can see with goggles little as well as big fishes and hedgehogs under the water. There is changing cabinet and paid shower (50 cents). Sun is mostly on your back, but it doesn’t disturb so much. There is one of the best ice-cream shops nearby (Bourbon). You may find nice bars and restaurants very close. Parking is paid per hour. There is also very beautiful playground up hill for your little ones. Njivice is one of the nicest towns in Krk Island. The parking is OK and it costs 1.4€ per hour but I suggest getting the app to monitor when you have to leave or if needed extend the time Za jedan posjet plaži krajem rujna, oduševljena sam. bar je bio otvoren. 🤞💙 More i dalje toplo i bistro, a na plaži 20ak kupača. Lijepa zavjetrina... Pohvale lokalnoj općini - bovice su i dalje okruživale kupalište, što na ovaj datum u nekim susjednim općinama nije praksa iako je temperatura mora bila 22 °C. Svakako podržavam što dužu sezonu kupanja, kao i produljenje turističke sezone. Najljepše kupanje ove "jeseni". I visited Njivice in the first half of July. This is the main public each and is super crowded every day. No private space at all. Since it is located in the centre of the resort, all possible amenities are easily accessible, but having no space other than your towel is no go - at least for me. You may find better places in Njivice. The around the restaurants and bars is very crowded. No sane person would go there. However, further down the promenade you can find great stretches of beach. A lovely set of beaches located in the northern region of the Croatian island of Krk. Fairly priced restaurants where you can get lunch and dinner (€8 for a platter of čevapi). A few bars right on the seafront. A small bakery with tasty doughnuts and local pastries. There's also a small market stall where you can get fruit and veg. Plenty of parking nearby too (charged at approx. €1.50/hr). There's also a free parking lot a 10 minute walk away, which fills up quickly. The crowd's very family orientated - more suited for couples and families (a lot of Germans, Austrians, Slovenians, Dutch, Hungarians. Hardly any Brits).
