Food taste was bland, is questionable (one of the servers was either joking or being straight up rude). Prices are on the higher range (as everywhere in Croatia now). In general it’s not worth burning tires going uphill here. I had an incredible at this restaurant! The 700-meter trek up the steep hillside was totally worth it. We received a warm welcome, despite not having a reservation. Thankfully, we arrived just before the evening rush and managed to secure a table. The wild mushroom soup was divine, and the homemade apple juice was a refreshing treat. The view from the restaurant was breathtaking. The freshly-made salad, drizzled with their own fig vinegar and olive oil, was a delight. One of us enjoyed a perfectly cooked medium-rare rump steak with crispy fries, while the other savored a beautifully seared sea bream served with a side of Swiss chard potatoes. The owner's commitment to sustainability was impressive; they even use their own homegrown ingredients. Don't expect Coca-Cola here—enjoy their delicious fruit juices instead. The meal ended with complimentary herbal bitters and a fantastic cherry liqueur. We couldn't resist taking home some of their products, including fig vinegar, tomato vinegar, and a jar of chestnut cream. The delightful highlight was the charming little girl who served our salad with a bright smile while gliding in on a light-up hoverboard. We loved the experience, the friendly service, and the wonderful atmosphere. We had lunch here with my fiancée, and they let us in even before opening time, which made a great first impression. The view was stunning. The food was excellent, and we received great recommendations on what to try. The staff were very polite and helpful. The Palačinke tasted just like my grandma's at home. Great flavour and consistency <3 Extremely overpriced bland food with horrible customer experience. However, the location is very nice. So if you dont mind paying 100 euro for a date with very "meh" food, with a nice view, then it will be a good choice. I had a very negative at this restaurant, mainly due to the rude staff and poor customer service. From the moment I arrived, the attitude of the employees was unwelcoming and unprofessional. Instead of creating a friendly and pleasant dining atmosphere, the staff were dismissive, impatient, and at times openly disrespectful. Good is just as important as food quality(which is very moderate), but here the staff’s behavior ruined the entire experience. When customers are treated with such a lack of courtesy, it leaves a lasting negative impression. I felt uncomfortable throughout my visit and could not enjoy the meal. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant to others because of the consistently rude staff and unprofessional service. There are many other places where customers are treated with respect and hospitality, and this restaurant could learn a lot from them. Until the management takes action to improve customer and train the team in basic hospitality, I would strongly suggest avoiding this place. If you want to be insulted for your money - this is a great place. If you’re anywhere near here – go! This place is pure magic: unbelievably fresh fish straight from the local fishermen, sensational wild game and truffle specialties, and owners who are absolute characters in the best way – warm, welcoming, and unforgettable. A rare combination of top-notch quality and genuine hospitality. Honest review: I first came here over 10 years ago – and it was the most extraordinary culinary of my life. Ever since, I return whenever I’m even remotely in the area… or I’ll happily plan my route so I can stop by and enjoy it again. The fish? Incredibly fresh, straight from the local fishermen of kvarner bay. The wild game and truffle dishes? Absolute highlights you’ll remember for years. The house specialties? Always sensational. And honestly – no matter what you put in your mouth here – it’s exquisite. Even their own olive oil and balsamic vinegar are simply a dream. This is a true hidden gem that, over the years, has lost none of its warmth or its outstanding quality in food and drink. A wholehearted recommendation! Just one tip: double-check the opening hours before coming, as the ones on Google aren’t always up-to-date. We were truly impressed by the warm hospitality, attentive service, inviting ambience, and absolutely delicious food. The scenic views were the perfect finishing touch to a wonderful experience. I highly recommend visiting this hidden gem and don’t miss their exceptional homemade products!
