It was a great tour and we saw a couple of dolphins. Some even quite near. The skipper made an effort to show us the animals while not going in their way or disturbing them too much. Which I appreciated. I booked the tour spontaneously in the morning and could still go on. The we were on was licensed to carry 13 people, so you‘ll be in a small group. Very good trip. We saw and hundreds of seabirds. Good commentary. Fast boat. was fantastic. The swam right next to the boat. Great experience. The skipper was really amiable and very knowledgeable. Während die Tour vor uns (zurecht) glücklich von einem Delfin 🐬 berichtet hat, waren es bei uns selbst gezählte 7 inkl. Jungtier. Lt. super freundlichem Skipper sollen es sogar 15 gewesen sein. Egal ob 1, 7 oder 15, es war einmalig und beeindruckend, die Tiere erst aus der Ferne, dann immer näher zu sehen. Trotz Unterkunft in Inverness haben wir uns für den rd. 20min. entfernten Anbieter entschieden. Es war zum einen deutlich preiswerter, zum anderen war der Skipper für solche Beobachtungen zertifiziert… Absolutely spectacular! Gwyn, the skipper was friendly and helpful, gave us lots of time and opportunity to photograph the dolphins. We went to a beautiful spot which allowed us some amazing views. An experience of a lifetime for only £25 ✨ Yes we saw and were lucky enough to see a calf with it's mum approximately 38hrs old. Gwyn really knows his stuff and doesn't chase the like some other operators, because they know his the were happy to come to it. We booked a last summer and couldn't have had a better experience. We brought our 4 daughters, the youngest being 9 months old at the time and the tour guide was brilliant pointing things out for them. It was a particularly windy day so they rang us to come on an earlier tour for the safety of our kids which was incredibly considerate and much appreciated. We would recommend their dolphin tours to anyone but especially families. Had a superb dolphin with Gwyn today. Fantastic views of the right next to the boat. Gwyn really knows his stuff and operates in the best way so he doesn't impact the wildlife. Would highly recommend going from Avoch rather than certain operators in Inverness. So glad we booked to go on this dolphin trip, had an amazing experience. Skipper was very informative, had knowledge of history as well as dolphins. We called Gwyn over the phone to book a dolphin-spotting trip. About an hour later, I called again to let them know we were running a bit late. They confirmed it was fine, so we continued our journey there. When we arrived, one man told us to park our car on their premises, then left a few minutes later. We waited outside the reception for about 30 minutes with no update. Finally, my husband and I went inside to ask when the would start. The man at the reception (Gwyn) was extremely rude, refused to give us a clear answer, and even tried to intimidate us. Shockingly, he let his dogs loose towards us. We have four children who were terrified, and I ended up having a panic attack due to his behaviour. This was an awful and frightening experience, and I would not recommend anyone to take a with them.
