Loved every moment and bar far the best pro I-we have seen in a long time with brilliant stock & much overlooked by so many. course was in excellent condition and very well presented 👏👏 moving on to Club house they were also excellent in helping but catering especially for being short staffed due to 2 illness being missing we're absolutely brilliant 👏 👏👏 Semi-private course close to downtown. Friendly, professional fit us in ( travelers from US ). Rental clubs are top notch. Course is very playable, don’t let overall yardage fool you - there’s plenty of challenge. This is a walking course & well run. Members were a delight & fun to talk with. Greens were in great shape! Have not started my golfround yet but the sandwich in the bar was TOP! Please be aware now the wintergreens are used and on the fairway you have to play from a small mat. AWESOME experience here tonight - got into Kingsmill Hotel at 5 pm, saw Inverness right next to the hotel. Called them up to see if I could sneak in a round - they accommodated me with a tee time at 6 pm. When I showed up to check in, needing rental clubs, Ross Black took charge in getting me a well-fitting set, a pull cart, and all the knowledge I needed. Since I was likely to finish when the pro was closed, Ross provided me a way to get the rental clubs back in the pro after-hours. Finished 18 holes in 2 hours & 20 minutes, in the near-dark, got the clubs back in the shop, and had a wonderful time. Thank you to Ross, the other employee in the pro shop, and Inverness golf club as a whole for helping this tourist have an amazing impromptu round of golf on a non-golfing family trip. Oh and the course was very fun as well! Will heavily recommend! Great course & some holes longer than I'm used to with a few par 4s over 450 yards! Holes 11-15 are across a road but really enjoyable! Excellent pro shop, well stocked & very helpful. Quality instruction especially during season when hitting off grass as opposed to mats. Restaurant is now available to non members for a days "membership" fee of £1 (April 2024). Friendly, helpful and a great course with a stunning backdrop of the Scottish countryside. Don’t be put off by the discrete entrance and small car park, this is a beautiful, well maintained 9-hole course.
