The looks big and it recently got a Gateway terminal for containers. Even though I like the as it reminds me like I'm in Trieste, there are still some derelict structures which tells that the needs to be revamped and let this be the most modern in Europe. This is Croatia’s largest seaport and serves as a key logistical gateway between inland Europe and the Mediterranean. The earliest records of the date back to 1281. During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, it functioned as a major of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. From World War II until 1991, it was one of the primary ports of Yugoslavia. Since Croatia’s independence in 1991, it has firmly established itself as the nation’s principal maritime hub. Very clean port. Easy on and off Friendly and helpful officials. It's really the largest sea 🚢🛳️ in Croatia. The walking area is not far from the port. It's in the centre of the city and it's called Korzo. But,there are other interesting tourist spots, galleries, museums, castle...🙂👍 Smaller with lots of scenic costal roads just a short drive away. Good The is truly picturesque! It offers a beautiful walk with a variety of regular and classy boats and yachts. This unique location is surrounded by charming cafes and lovely restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed my time spent there. A wonderful place for arrivals and departures, a place to enjoy the sunset with great strength in your heart. Incredibly in love. Passing through Croatia in our trip from Paris to Bulgaria. this is a really nice stop and you can buy food near the port, then go hear and relax in the shade of the walls! Very scenic view! Visited as part of a cruise. Nice welcome from local people in national costume, a little band and offering a taste of local produce. Easy walk into the town which has some lovely baroque architecture. Also a moving memorial to the Croatian War of Independence. Rijeka hat ein wirklich schöne Altstadt, die zum erkunden und verweilen einlädt. Sve pohvale Very calm and nice place with beautiful view.
