Then put in and 3 in 1 pack inside the washer. Close the door 2) put in 3 pieces of £2 coin in the washer coin slot. If you do not have coins, the helper will exchange for you. The washer need £6 for 30 wash 3) choose temperature then press 3 twice. The machine will start wash 4) after 30 minutes, move your to the dryer. £1 for 5 minutes. I put in 8 pieces of £1 for 40 minutes. After 40 minutes, all my clothes, including jeans, was dry. FYI, the weather on that day was -4 celcius raining day. Friendly and helpful staff. Paid 6£ for a 45 minute cycle and an extra 50p for them to add detergent. came out clean. This location is perfect and they’re open a bit later than the other laundromats in the area. We dropped off 8kgs of washing and they washed, dried and folded the lot for 20 pounds and we picked up a few hours later. Much easier and not much more $$ than doing it ourselves and spending 2 hrs in the shop. It was fine. 4£ for small laundry, 6£ for large wash. Dryer is 1£ per 7 minutes. We ran it twice on high and our items were mostly dry after. Didn’t want to spend over 10£ on laundry. Quite pricy. Only 3 chairs to sit, and was everywhere. Staff didn’t acknowledge us or ask if we needed help. They will exchange your bills for coins. Only 2£ coins work in the washers. No major issues but would’ve been nice to have more place to sit (I had to stand for 20 while waiting for someone to leave). Great family operated service in Inverness. I had 10 days worth of that needed washing. The have both do it yourself and a drop off wash, dry and fold service. It was £17 for the large bag and they had it ready in about 4 hours. Highly recommended SUMMER HOURS OPEN TILL 8:00PM I was grateful & had a great experience at New City Laundrette. The lovely young man helped me get change, gave me some washing powder (for a fee) and tips on the short cycle (25mins) which washed my stained perfectly & left them smelling fresh & great. I was able to finish all my before they closed at 8pm which are their summer trading hours (contrary to what google will say). You can tell there is goodwill in the community by the number of drop ins and chit chat. You can drop off your & they will & dry for you, starting from £20 per load. Expensive laundrette, I needed to run the dryer several times (spending lots of money). The lady wanted to push us to do the quick for the same price as normal and was ill-mannered. We went to another laundrette just 4mins away. "Riverness Laundrette" is highly recommended, very clean, friendly staff, cheaper and so efficient. Worth your money and no regrets..
