Great place to stay. I will say go there and experience it. Amazing night. Quiet, peaceful, and we woke up to birdsong. The fireplace added a cozy magic to an already magical stay. Loved the rustic vibes and had fun with the pump shower. Would stay again in a heartbeat. 100% recommend to all family and friends! We have been on holiday in Scotland a few times and booked axe throwing at wildwoodz a few years back and loved it and booked it again this year. I don’t think I’ll ever be disappointed at wildwoodz, very knowledgable and very helpful with how to safety handle and throw a range of axes, and I would honestly return again! Thank you so much!! Booked Friday 30th for both Axe Throwing, morning, and Archery, afternoon. Met Dan at 9:25, completed paperwork. He asked if we would like the hour and a half between events, or run it back to back with a small break -took that option as the midges were out😉 Dan ran us through all the safety aspects, and techniques then started the ‘throwing’ . We did really enjoy the morning. Even though we were chucking dangerous weapons about it was really entertaining- and funny using our ‘jazz hands ‘🤗 Some competition with the Card Game to end the session. The Archery followed the same Safety talk, Dan was extremely knowledgeable about the sport, and put it across very well. The bows were tailored to our needs- my Wife was assessed and had to use a left hand bow due to a weakness in her right fingers. To sum up, our day was enlightening, entertaining and a really good laugh - and if up in Inverness we would do it again ! We would like to thank Dan for putting us at ease, and answering all our questions. We think Dan also found it relaxing as he was not under pressure, or he didn’t show it if he was😉, a true professional 🤣 Lasertag was an absolute blast, the kids loved it as well as the adults. I would most definitely book again, staff were brilliant, such a good experience. A group of 6 of us did Archery yesterday and it was such a fun and uplifting activity for our family trip. Toby, the instructor, was very friendly and professional but most of all fun. Once we’d went through the safety briefings with the bows we went on to some warm up and practice, before moving onto some fun mini games and competitions between the group at the end. We were worried about the weather at first but the archery is in fact covered so don’t need to worry about getting wet. Great place and would definitely return, potentially for Axe Throwing or doing Archery again just at a greater distance. Best place for outdoor activities in Inverness. Absolutely wonderful instructor. Definitely knew what they were talking about and offered great advise with a good sense of humour. Not one did me or any of our group feel rushed or pressured and we always received good feedback. Wonderful place, great instructor and lovely place for archery.
