Absolutely stunning place to be,great for kids,families& dog walkers ,clean sandy Visited on a quiet day but a nice area with great views and a walk to a nearby waterfall. Stunning beach, even when its busy you can find a quiet little spot, very clean and the cafe is lovely! Been swimming there and it's a great spot to do paddle boarding. Also across a little way is Inverness airport so you can see planes landing and taking off but you can't hear them! Love this spot! Picture heaven.... are you picturing it? ... Ok now what would you say if I said I can show you where it is...? ROSEMARKIE! It's there and it exists people! Wake up! I feel conflicted about writing a review because Rosekarkie feels like the kind of place you want to keep a secret. A little slice of heaven. But at the same time I can't help but tell everyone. Beautiful beaches, rock pools and trails. Cozy streets and inns and stunning views. If you want me to explain heaven I won't because I can't, better see it for yourself so you too can be the keeper of the worst best kept secret of this idyllic place. The bird live here.. they make such a loud noises. itself is very nice. Sandy beach. They have a cafe near by but closes really early. You can park the car right next to the beach Only reason 4 star is the bird noises Beautiful beach. Full of shells to collect and gorgeous scenery for walk. Must be lovely spot on hot summer day (we visited end of October and still worth it!). Great little cafe with small kids playground right next to it. A very beautiful beach. Worth going there. There's also a waterfall nearby to visit called "fairy glens" waterfall which is also very peaceful and lovely. Beautiful little beach, bits of sand and rock pools, cafe just off the plus some grassy areas and benches. Lovely area to spend a few hours with the family.
