We sat outside on a sunny day after some sightseeing. Coffees, pasta, hummus, and chips were all tasty. Have visited here over the past few years and it has always been on top of it's game. The food is very good,served with a smile even when busy it doesn't take too long to get served. They have a variety of beers and ciders, coffee is also. We ate outside even on a cloudy day, the view is good. Cannot recommend this place enough,will be back. Lovely food, lovely café and a view across the bay Friday 18th April 25, just after 10. Very popular as it's a tourist trap. We walked in and had to wait to be seated. There was 1 person in front who seemed to get bored waiting so left. We waited about 1 minute for 1 of the 2 front of house to come over to seat us which was a waste of time as we basically chose our table. Another group had joined the queue behind us. And while we sat a second group came in. Unfortunately it goes down hill from here. The first group after us knew someone obviously as they were greeted like a regular and were served before us and then, for some reason, the second group were also served before us too. I gesticulated to a member of as if to say what's going on? She basically ignored me. Then we were seen to. We just had two small breakfasts and 2 coffees. Unfortunately the sausages were unevenly cooked and the toast was a very small piece. It was all hot though. We ate our food and when I went to pay I mentioned to the member about not being served in the order of arrival. At that point you should just apologise. I don't want to hear your excuses. It is just poor communication and organisation by the only two members of on. So you only get 1 for service and 3 for food. Very nice cozy place with views. I had the cheesecake and a coffee. The cheesecake was very light and fluffy and tasteful. were kind too. They also have loads of sounding foods on the menu, as some cocktails so you I recon you can eat very well here too. Saw some dishes coming out and they looked and smelled amazing. A friend and I dined here for breakfast, we had American Pancake breakfast and Pancakes with bacon and syrup and they were delicious. We also had lattes and it’s the best latte I’ve ever had! It’s worth mentioning they do alternative milk for them with intolerances/allergies - lots of cakes also!! The were very friendly and polite. Service was quick even though it got really busy, really quickly 👌🏾 We enjoyed it that much we are going back to try the dinner menu 🙂 next review coming up…… Well what can I say the dinner menu did not disappoint. I was gutted I missed the lasagna on the specials menu as lasagna is my favourite dish and I only missed it as it was sold out due to its popularity. Instead we both had Fish and Chips and wow it was delicious the fish was lightly battered and we could tell the fish was fresh. The fish was that large of couldn’t even finish mine and I felt rather guilty when they took my plate back into the kitchen. The chips were cooked to perfection 👌🏾 and the salad was lovely, it wasn’t just any plain salad either it was drizzled in balsamic vinegar and went really well with the fish and chips! I’m so glad we choose to come back! Amazing place to eat, amazing food, amazing staff! Thank you We can't rate this place highly enough. The owner and his go out of the way to serve you. He creates a atmosphere and the food is delicious. Been offered tap water was a nice touch. We will definitely be back.. Best fish supper I've ever had hands down!! I will be dreaming about those chips for years to come! And apparently according to our waiter it was all gluten free (which blew my mind because normally gluten = flavour 😅) Venue is lovely and very friendly...with my only regret being having not partaken in the delicious looking cakes on offer! We will be back!
