One of the Best Places To Visits in Gilmerton Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Very beautiful and spectacular areas specially for activities. We visited in end of winter and it was the reason most of activity were off. We were 3 adults but was very nice view on top of the hill. We only used café and the man was very friendly and helpful and not only give us very tasty drinks but also give advice about other activities and sightseeing around Crieff town. I recommend to anyone visiting with your family and friends and every ages. Great family day out. Basic food, good coffee, ice cream. Not much more you really need! It's about 20 minute walk from the hotel with spectacular views along the way. You could do the walk with a buggy without much issue, but it is a gravel path so decide yourself. We had a great on the EZ Raiders. Our guide was chatty, friendly and knowledgeable. We felt the tour of the land was great value for money. Had a good time. I good activity park BUT need a lot of improvements. 1) crazy golf looked like it had a better days already..after the rain, holes are full of water and it not pleasant to put a hand in dirty water to reach a golf ball. Golf trail is also broken, cracked and lost most of paint. 2) some places were UNUSABLE after the rain. At playpark it was a MASSIVE puddle right on front of entrance to bouncy place..so had only an option to walk in ankle deep water or climp for 10-15 meter alongside the fence to reach entrance (i will upload photos). At archery place a half of places were covered in huge puddle and cannt use it so must to wait a longer in que as only half places were still dry and ok to use. At woodland combat it was difficult to play as place was too slippery and muddy after rain. At tree tops adventure we had NO helmets (like on site photo) and most difficult was actually to WALK back from finish to start as some places were so muddy and wet so i came with soaking wet and muddy trainers as it was no way to go around..all was in deep dirty mud. May be they must put some straw, or sand, or sticks, so will be able to pass it. 3) behaviour was challeging. When I was in que for tree tops we had 9 before us, so man said he can keep only one more..i though my daugher can go but he refused as he she need me to supervise her and with me it will be 11 people. So he us to wait for 30 mins till next time. (We was very upset as we never been about limit of number of and we were first but run to car for minute and when came back was behind the limit line). We waited for few minutes to ask if we need to stay and wait at tree tops or to come back in 20mins..that moment 3 more came. Another member (another man) came and asked if we want to come now for tree top adventure..I said "yes, we would love to, but previous man us to wait for 30 mins"..this man said its not a problem and he can keep us and next 3 peoples too. We was shocked and happy at same time, previous man just looked at us but never apologised. At air gun shed I tried to focus too much on target but all was a bit blurry so I put my face too close to gun and had a hit in my forehead (my failt I know). It was very sore and a bit of a shock of course. But bigger shock was a speech, he said "I you not to put a gun too close to face..ISNT IT SILLY? This chicky words made me so upset, he didnt try to ask how do I feel or try to help, he sounds nearly sarcastic happy. Also during a shootings (while watching team who was prior us) I noticed that this man (staff member) instead of watching people, took few metal pellets from pocket, sit on place where player already finished and started to shoot. He wasnt care much of watching people, so was not nice to see his behaviour to person who had been hurt. At archery (second we came, after 3pm) a young member was also not paying attention to what happening around. He let who been played before to do it once more (at second half of shed) and that moment he started to tell a new in first half of shed a safety info. We wasnt new and thats why I spotted a difference: 1) he not about all safety precautions and 2) he stood faced toward to us (people in first half of shed) and in second half of shed were BEHIND him..he had no idea they started to shoot a targets already and that some of them even walked to collect arrows from field without his permission. He was very lucky than nobody gets hurt. So, Action Glen is ovearll nice place, good attractions, nice cafe and clean toilets, good food and friendly and clowledgeable (most of them) staff. But in a day when it were not many we manage to visit most of places once (only archery twice), so for price you pay in busy days it might be you will spend a half day in ques...which can be no nice. Great set of activities for all age groups. The were super friendly and were ready to answer any questions. The loved the air rifles, pod quad, crazy golf and the highlight was the Aloft treetop adventure. Our whole family took part on the tree tops apart from our youngest who was happy to walk below and follow the guide. The views of the hills from the whole place were epic also. Good times. Amazing holiday, couldn't ask for better weather. Alpaca Trekking was the highlight for my as well as lead rein horse riding for my eldest. The Fort was fantastic and plenty of spaces to have a packed lunch. Would definitely stay longer if we could! They charge £9 for 100 balls at a driving range with only 4 bays, if you get a tee you’re lucky and even when/if you get a tee, they are so damaged that you have to try and balance the ball on it and hope it doesn’t fall off. There is always litter and the balls always come out dirty, broken, 40 years old or waterlogged. That is once you have picked up the balls from the holes in the baskets that haven’t been replaced in at least 2 years. After coming to my senses I don’t think it would even be worth £2. you’re hitting up a slope and occasionally have to stop hitting as with alpacas or whatever come walking across at around 180 yards. If someone is hitting driver in bay one by the door, you could quite easily get hit if they have a wide swing. I’d just avoid as best you can. I had an amazing this weekend, Lorna was fabulous. She was so engaging with us all. Even managed to get our pre teen to crack a smile. She was very informative and has a vast array of knowledge but was super fun in the delivery of these facts. Would definitely return especially with like that. Such a great place with somthing for all the family to do. I personally loved trying archery (even tho I am no Robin Hood) Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
