Nice open space, lovely clean toilets and showers. Laundrette takes £1 and 20p coins only, costs around £3 per wash and £1 an hour for the drier. Lots of drinking water taps around. Nice playpark for younger kids, my teens made use of the big grassy spaces for football. Nice walks round the park if you have a dog. Lovely looking new wooden cabins. The warden was lovely when we arrived and gave us a better pitch as we had a breakdown en route and ended up with a smaller vehicle. Very nice of her One night spent by two adults in a campervan. The campsite is big and not particularly close to anything. There's more space than toilets and and, by far, more people than effort in keeping the facilities clean. The are close to disgusting. Among its facilities, this campsite offers a small laundry. But it's very crowded (getting a spot is not easy), expensive and one of the dryers is a complete waste of time and money, as it doesn't work. Overall this is a campsite full of misbehaved families that keep being really noisy all day and night. On top of that, the highway is so close that the constant sound of cars makes sleeping even less pleasant. Although the people at reception were nice, this was the worst campsite we found in a two week trip across Scotland. This is not a place for those who want to rest peacefully. I spent a few nights here on a Scotland trip recording a van camping video for my YouTube channel More Than Just a Cleaner. My friend and I stayed in The Ark, which I affectionately called a shed 😅 Unlike other pods I've stayed in this had beds - 3 to be precise + kettle, microwave, a small fridge/freezer and a TV. Don't expect a lot of floor space. There is an outside area with a picnic bench. Whilst there are mattresses, you'll need your own bedding. The toilets and are good with more than I expected. There's a laundry and pot washing area and several drinking water stand pipes. You can hear the M90 in the background but it's not overbearing at all. I accidentally left a camera attached to a lamp post which I only realised several hours after leaving when I got home. A quick call and the owners have retrieved the camera and we've come to an arrangement for it to be returned 👍😁 I haven't got any pictures, only video, which will appear in a future YouTube upload. Nice site, unfortunately there were a lot of travelers using it at the moment, as the council was using the to house them, while their permanent was being renovated. We just didn't feel comfortable. Very nice and clean place to stay. On a camping unit can be easily set a car (van) and a tent if you need one beside. Drinking water is placed all around, there is a nice playground for children as well. I missed some storage facility for various equipment, Been going for years. This time really disappointing grass not cut, tiny untidy pitch, lots of empty pitches but stuck in between 2 other vans one of which had parked his car on our pitch, he was nt very happy when we asked him to move his car, we had a leak under our sink so used dish washing facilities 1st time using, NEVER AGAIN!! the smell coming up from sink disgusting, put some scraps in bin at side of sink obviously had nt been emptied for a while turned my stomach then to top it all travellers moved in, WONT BE BACK !!! This park is nestled under electrical pilons so not very attractive, and situated in such close proximity to A9 that it's difficult to sleep. The pathways on are uneven and potted making it difficult to get to pitch or use a water barrel trolley. Very relaxed and limited rules on site, no barrier, no staff except on arrival, and no regard whatsoever for health and safety regulation regarding spacing of units, we saw several 'merged' units and tents on arrival then we came back from a day out to find our new neighbour had pitched an awning that was touching our unit and no staff on to deal with this intrusion of space and potential fire hazard. Only good thing to say about the is that the toilet and shower facilities are dated but very clean. Our first and last visit to this site. This is a lovely caravan/camping with plenty of amenities available. Toilets and were lovely and well maintained. This is our first return in 8yrs and it was just as good then as it was recently. The reception staff was lovely and very helpful when we realised our electric hookup wouldn’t stretch to the main socket, even moved us to another spot. It’s a great place for kids as there is plenty to with crazy golf and soft play within walking distance and a dog play area (which needs to be booked). But we are definitely returning here and bringing more family with us Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
