Lovely lady on the cheese counter, very helpful and nice to chat to so we came away with so much cheese 😂 cost a small fortune but worth it. Lovely shop, very well stocked and in beautiful surroundings. Adored the sheep and highland cows just chilling in the sun. Wonderful experience at the Gloagburn Shop! Stopped here for a traditional scottish breakfast of Sausages, Bacon and black pudding. Delicious! Wish I had more time to explore the shop. Outlook was cool too. Definetly will be back :) "A beautiful and peaceful experience! The service was lovely, the atmosphere very welcoming, and it’s truly family-friendly. We had an amazing lunch with the family, and finished our visit by passing through the market — everything was excellent. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable day out!" Such a well stocked - everything oozed quality and a great cafe too. Not the cheapest but a great trip out with lovely views as well. One of the greatest kids playgrounds I have seen. A timber castle with slides, rope bridge, and a sensational view of animals. The is just as incredible. What a range of produce, including the biggest blueberries I have ever seen, deli items, snacks, gifts, and clothing. There was a very popular cafe too, but we opted for coffee and ice cream, both very good. Highly recommend stop in here. Beautiful place and family friendly. Good food and spacious parking. They have a playground and a wee farm, spotted a highland coo Nice restaurant looking onto fields. Delicious cakes to buy also cheese, biscuits, chocolate, fruit and plants. Cows and sheep for the children. Excellent find. Well signposted, I was surprised to see a lovely full of fresh produce, gift ideas, and even treats. There are lots of cakes and brunch options to choose from. I would definitely recommend visiting when driving around the area. Very enjoyable time at Gloagburn - lunch, shopping and flower picking. Starting with lunch, as we had our small dog with us, we were shown to the outdoor dining area and a heated booth by a friendly male server. Service was pleasant and efficient and the food delicious. After lunch took the opportunity to do some shopping and also pick some tulips. The whole experience was a pleasure - each member of staff was polite and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit already. Lovely with a great selection of produce. The counters in particular had such a great selection that it was hard to choose what to buy. Portions felt generous for the price compared to other shops. Would definitely visit again if in the area Excellent parking is full of interesting stock and quality of food products is outstanding just a little pricey but you pay for quality Fantastic lunch. Lovely place great service and very high quality food. I hadn't ever been here before. Its about 45mins from my house but I decided to go for breakfast with my partner. It was a Saturday morning about 10 and was quite quiet but as we were leaving I could see the car park was getting full. I had poached eggs and toast and my partner had the full breakfast. My highlights were having a server who was 35+ that was refreshing for hospitality these days. Great service. I also particularly loved the shop, it is huge and the offering was fantastic a mix between home, kids, food, gifts, stationary the lot. We purchased some chocolate croissants to take back and a few other food items. I would say the croissants were actually disappointing and I wouldnt buy those again but otherwise very happy with our visit We spent £40 in their shop. One of the items was a pack of sausage rolls (not frozen!) from their baker’s selection. The rolls were ice cold (which I didn’t expect) and my kids refused to eat them. I politely asked the to warm up the rolls but was told I had to pay extra £12 as warming up makes my purchase a restaurant meal. I regret buying anything from this place, I think this level of customer service is unacceptable. This was a lovely place to meet up. Lunch was tasty. Only issue was wasps which were in abundance and the owners were trying to control. we had an awful experience here today. my 2-year-old had a tantrum in the (completely normal for that age), and instead of showing patience or kindness, an older man working there mocked us. first he said to my son: “aww, you’re crying. your dad will have to buy something.” then he added, “your dad seems to have lost all his parenting skills.” i found this deeply rude and completely unacceptable. we left feeling humiliated and very upset. a should be welcoming to families, not a place where staff make snide comments at stressed parents and small children. we won’t be returning, and i wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects basic respect.
