A Hidden Gem of Authentic Cuisine! Our sudden and completely random stop at Konoba Zora turned into an unforgettable culinary experience, proving that some of the most beautiful discoveries are the most spontaneous ones. Without a reservation, we were lucky to find a spot in this beautiful restaurant, and the entire atmosphere, from the moment we entered until we left, was absolutely exceptional. What sets this konoba apart from others is its authenticity and dedication to local, homemade cuisine. Every bite was a true journey through the flavors of the island of Krk. The dishes are prepared with love, care, and, most importantly, from fresh, local ingredients, which you can taste in every dish. Besides the food itself, the atmosphere is truly what makes this place special. The warmth, comfort, and genuine hospitality of the staff make you feel right at home. The decor is rustic yet tasteful, which adds to the overall experience and allows you to fully immerse yourself in the enjoyment. Konoba Zora is the perfect place for anyone looking for more than just a regular meal. It is a place that celebrates tradition, flavor, and hospitality, and it is definitely a destination worth visiting. Exceptional food, a perfect atmosphere, and hospitality to remember. I highly recommend it! Take a tour to Dobrinj far away from the hordes of tourists in the seaside towns! It's a magical place and this little place was a nice spot for some cold drinks after exploring the view point and small narrow streets and alley ways of Dobrinj 👏 Will come back one day and have a meal and stay in one of the apartments in this little gem 🇭🇷 If I had known earlier how they recommended me, I would have come immediately because I am very very satisfied. Homemade food and a specialty of the island of Krk, šurlica. We ordered šurlice with glaša with a cold fish appetizer. Recommended wine from Vrbinka. Dogs are allowed and the square in front of the church gives a special impression. Neat little restaurant in the heart of Dobrinj. Food and service was great. Only problem is that downtown Dobrinj is only accessible on foot, you must park your car a few hundred meters away and walk - to the restaurant its all downhill, back to the car it's all uphill. This excellent restaurant is often full, thus a reservation could be a good idea. The staff is super nice (although, to me it seemed they are few to serve all the guests), the dishes are perfrctly delicious, but maybe we like the best their cakes, if I have to choose. Multiple times we were completely satisfied. Probably the Best Tavern on the Island — Definitely in the Top 3 Warm and welcoming service, authentic dishes, and a great atmosphere. We highly recommend booking a table in advance, as it can get quite busy — and for good reason! Visitors are kindly asked to leave their vehicles along the main road before entering the old town on foot. Meals were very tasty — we had Gnocchi with goulash and cevapcici. Cevapcici came only with ajvar and onions. It’s a bit more expensive than other places since side dishes like fries are extra, but the flavors are worth it. Dobrinj village is a pedestrian-only area — you cannot drive in the center! Overall 11/10. Amazing food, friendly staff and unique location. It was so good we came here the next day also, and i got to taste their salads and chicken. They were amazing, well-coocked, well-seasoned for my taste. The location is picturesque, perfect to take a stroll before or after you eat and admire the views and the small town. One thing to mention is parking, you need to park in the designated areas at the city entry, because streets are narrow and although you can drive your car in the city, it's really only meant for locals to do it:) But it shouldn't be a problem, as it's only a 5-10 minute walk. The atmosphere is very friendly, waiters smiling and greeting you, making you feel welcomed. What i do recomend is making a reservation a few hours beforehand, or maybe even a day earlier, as it can get pretty full especially around peak hours(especially if you are a larger group, more than 3-4 people). Would definitely come here again!
