Ignore the notice board declaring that the is not a Naturist and that “lewd behaviour” (as opposed to Naturist behaviour) “will be prosecuted”. This sign was erected by the Parish Council and does not represent the views of the District Council nor indeed the Police who are both fully aware that innocent nakedness in a public place such as a (i.e. as practiced by Naturists) is not illegal and should not be regarded as and reported as an offence in law. We were fortunate enough to have it all to ourselves for a long period of time (even at mid morning) we did access it via the steps, I believe I counted 100 in total so not great access for less able folk. Went there on the 9th July, about 30 people there, a mix of couples, men and women. No facilities on the and it's best to take shoes. Great nudist-friendly beach. Nice sand, and easy access, from nearest road and bus route, while being pretty private. Make sure and take a picnic, There are no facilities or bars within walking distance.
