I never expected to find such high-quality pizza in the middle of nowhere. We left the highway to locate the restaurant, and luckily, it was right next to the exit. Its interior was beautifully decorated with antiques, old household items, bicycles... The pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven right before your eyes and are ready in just a few minutes. There are plenty of topping options available, although there are no vegan choices. On certain days, they also serve cooked dishes, though we didn't get to try any. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was friendly. There is free parking available outside the restaurant, albeit with limited spaces. Pizza was great, it wasn't crowded and waiter was very nice. Small con is the price, but they have some cool optons to choose from so I guess also that can be justified. Great place with tasty food! Must visit! Minute from highway Zagreb-Rijeka. Dear all, my vacation started yesterday and today we were exploring some nice caves in Fužine. My gf suggested this place and I said yes, as a good partner should. The food was excellent. Pizza was very tasty but the meal named "Veprić pod pekom" blew our minds!!! It was their meal of the day served with salad and homemade bread. Desserts were quite nice and the service was better than expected. We will come back for sure and we are looking forward to our next encounter! P.s. my GF loves desserts 🍰 Got lucky to get a table on a holiday weekend. However, the lunch options (marenda) that my family ordered were extremely overpriced — €23 for a portion that wasn’t even enough to satisfy a 7-year-old. Disappointing value/size for money. The pizza is genius; the dough is crispy and melts in your mouth. Incredibly delicious. Come, sit, relax and enjoy! Went here after hiking for some well deserved food, and we were amazed again by the food both the old shattered hand and the hunter pizza were amazing. We also returned the next day for a 2nd time on our way back home for some takeaway pizzas.
