To note, no dogs between 1st May - 30th September. Outside of these months dogs can run free off the lead. The is gorgeous golden sand. There are toilets on the too which are free. There is an old pier. There are steps up to the top, but also a slope for buggies. The itself when the tide is out is very wide. There are plenty of parking places nearby, including Royal Green Car Park. One of the nicer beaches in the uk definitely!! We choosed this for a volleyball and it was amazing. Sand by the huts have been so soft! It gets worse going closer to the sea, however, nice and sandy, quiet shallow way into the sea again. Some entertainments around. Car park right behind the huts. Toilets have been out of order but temporarily ones standing outside. Not too overcrowded even on a bank holiday. Brilliant wide sandy on a beautiful Suffolk coastline and has loads of huts on the seafront toilets are nearby and also a short from Claremont and South pier it was high tide when we visited today the sea was quite moderate too but easy getting down for a nice long paddle and the weather stayed dry it was also nice and quiet on the too and plenty of room to sit and watch the world go by Even on a wet day in the middle of winter, this was really nice. Beautiful views and appears well looked after. Found it much more enjoyable just to around as it's not saturated with amusements like some of the other nearby spots. Parked in town, about a 5 minute to the beach. Such a lovely on the Promenade. Nice and most of all, very litter free. What a lovely beach. So clean, well designed, and very safe. I loved walking along the promenade as there were separate lanes for cyclists and for people walking. Plenty of bins for people to get rid of rubbish. The itself is great, you can either go on one side which is more pebbly or the other side is sandier. Either way it is well looked after and the lifeguards are visible, often out in the sea doing patrols. They use the flag system to let you know where it's safer to swim which is good. Plenty of places to eat and drink all the way along the seafront and fairly priced. Loads of parking nearby, some pay at the meter (or using Ringgo) and some free spots if you're willing to venture further. Atmosphere at the was very relaxed and there were lots of people having fun, as they should. It's definitely a well respected and looked after beach. Only thing I felt was missing was that you couldn't go along the pier otherwise it was a thoroughly enjoyable trip. Beautiful beach, might just be my new favourite! Quite butbwith a few retardants and puns as well as beachy shops. Beautiful clean sea amd a lovely up along the leading into the town. If you right along the you will come across a pavilion, pub and then the town centre 😀. Fid you know that lowestoft is the most easterly point in the UK!! Great sunrise can be captured here 👌 Visited this to see the 'Giant Walking Men' very impressed both with the 8ft sculptures and the itself. Very clean sandy beach. Good car park close by.
