Very lake, unfortunately with a large factory at the back. BBQ area and beer garden. Small beach areas. We were here with #Bigfooot and #Littlefeet for a few hours. The water shimmered slightly turquoise and was pleasantly cool. Despite the wind, it was and warm to lie under a tree on the shore. The neighboring water patrol was at their post and watched the many stand-up paddlers and children in the water with binoculars. On this of the lake, the south side, it was a little quieter on this day. Opposite on the north by the parking lot (fee: €2.50) is the barbecue area, which is used by many families and therefore produces a lot of smoke. We can only recommend the lake! Especially the south (some shade), the east (little to no shade from trees) and the west (lots of shade from trees, but still mainly barbecue area) are very nice. You can get to the by S-Bahn (station: Heimstetten, distance: 1km) or by bike. To the north of the is the highway and just behind it the Aschheim sports park. Clean, usually not too crowded. There is a restaurant with a beer garden. There are also more restrooms. Plenty of parking available, but also only a few minutes from the S-Bahn. A great place for an outing, walking, and grilling, with a kids’ play area as well. The sea breeze is wonderful, and I think this spot is mainly known to the locals or nearby residents. for go swimming on a hot day. The grass around the is all on a slope though some more steep and not suitable for smaller children. The playground is not of much use as it is full in the sun all day long and both slides are of metall and becomes burning hot. Very much recommended for a weekend picnic. It can get quite busy on good weather days tho, come before midday to get a good spot. place to visit with family. Neat and clean HEIMSTETTENER LAKE Is a Great place to relax chill with friends and family it’s a conducive environment for every one. What a wonderful place Beautiful and you can grill there, some areas have a lot of algae and swimming there is not really enjoyable, but when you find a good spot then it is really nice. A place to relax, with many trees Very place. It has a restaurant at the entrance with good drinks, cofee and snacks. Not crowded, but I think it is because it is still spring time. Love the Heimstettnersee. The Biergarten in summer is a lovely touch, it's a luxury and privilege to have such a well kept area, and great to walk round whatever the weather.
