Everyone was very friendly and there was lifeguards on view and they was also friendly Huge beach, plenty of sunbeds (€25 for the pair) & also space up against the dunes for those doing their own thing. Very shallow indeed, making it ideal for children but a pain for anyone wanting to swim as it's a trek out and there are rocks hidden within the sand. Couple of bar restaurants with a single toilet - only other toilet facilities are smelly portaloos. Huge car park, mostly full at 10.30am on a Sunday in Sept. Car parking also up in the village centre by shops etc, again mostly full. Really long stretch of white sanded beach. It’s super clean and there are lifeguards dotted about. It’s a really nice place to watch the sunset as well. Nice with very shallow – great for kids to splash and play, but might not be ideal for adults who prefer deeper swimming. You can also hire a boat or enjoy other sports. The sea is clear and shallow and children absolutely love it. Short towards Santo Tomas and crowds thin out. The area near lifeguard Tower 4 is where the clothing optional starts and there is some rocky area in the water, good for snorkeling. Carry on walking to the West and you can have like 50m meters of the all to yourself. There are recycling bins at the exits, and some showers to wash that sand off your skin. The car park is free! There is a little restaurant that serves drinks and ice creams that you can take away. The sunbeds can be purchased for €10 for all day, which was a little on the expensive side, but if you're a tanner or having nothing else planned I guess it's alright.
