Highest of its kind in the world with 80m and a speed of 0.5km/h. friendly and welcoming staff, entrance 14€/adult and the tour is 30min. dont forget to grab some drinks and snacks with you. you will need it certainly to enjoy the of Munich.very recommended. Amazing experience overall. We went for the poker night special. Staff were very friendly, had a nice poker table table there (for fun, no money involved) which made the experience even better. They do offer great snacks, drinks and cocktails before the ride, also some steak or Bratwurst sandwiches. One can even chill at lounge area before the ride. I truly enjoyed the day and would recommend it to all. Umadum – München is a Ferris located a bit outside Munich’s center, and while it offers an enjoyable ride, it may not provide the most spectacular views of the city. Compared to other observation points in Munich, such as the the Frauenkirche’s south tower, the vistas from Umadum feel somewhat limited. The surrounding area is more industrial, so the isn’t as picturesque or iconic as some might hope. The itself is nice and relaxing, offering a chance to see the from a different perspective, but it’s not as awe-inspiring or expansive as other observation experiences. Additionally, since it’s not located directly in the heart of the city, it might require a bit more effort to reach. Overall, Umadum is a fun and unique experience for those in the area, but for visitors seeking sweeping, unforgettable views of Munich, there are other observatories that offer more striking panoramas of the city. Used an opportunity for a free during Europa-Tag. Spacious cabins, one can see Munich from several angles and Alps are visible too if weather is suitable. Plus: you can see cute sheep and chickens roaming on the roof of adjacent building. Still ferries is practically the same height as the building nearby so you can practically get the same „industrial“ (not 360 though) and have a drink for the entry price. Still a nice thing to do if you are in the area. A great way to see all of Munich and on a clear day you can see the mountains (Alps). The roof of the adjacent building has a mini farm on it with chickens, lambs and grass, as well as tables and benches to eat on. I would definitely recommend a visit if they are open. The Hi-Sky is the largest mobile Ferris in the world and at the same time the largest Ferris in Germany. Since April, you have been able to discover the Alps, the Frauenkirche and the Olympic grounds on the approximately 30-minute journey. At a turning speed of less than 0.5 km/h, many other sights can be spotted. Up to 16 people can enjoy the extraordinary over Munich together in a gondola. Highly recommend for a spectacular of Munich. You can buy drinks and snacks to take on board at the kiosk there (but note - you can't byo). I would have enjoyed it more if there was some information in the carts about what sights to look out for on the (and where to look). I know the industrial surroundings are currently going through an interesting revamp project, including some rooftop gardening. There was a small screen on the side of the cart with a bit of info, but the slides moved too fast to figure out where things were. First "Umadum" then high culture: Before the ground is broken for the new concert hall in the "Werksviertel-Mitte" district (a former factory site) near Ostbahnhof railway station, the site will temporarily be host to the "Umadum München", the biggest mobile Ferris in the world. The 78 metres high big is due to start turning as of April 14th 2019 and will be carrying up to 1,300 passengers per hour into the Munich skies and back again. Nice views and good price for what you get. Thirty minute ride, going round the twice. Polite staff and even in wet weather, you feel safe! As someone who is scared of heights, this was a surprisingly pleasant experience & I would highly recommend going in the evening time for the best views of the city! It was a wonderful experience riding a winter themed gondola. From above you can see the colorful buildings of the Munich center together with the night lights that make it magical. It is a romantic way to spend your 30 minutes with your special someone or any loved ones. This is an alternative way to see Munich from a different view. It was fun! No lines, no waiting at all! Great and funny staff! You can go either one or two rounds with the same price. It rained quite a bit when we were there so the was not so good but still fun. Make sure to look at the rooftops. You might spot some sheep! 🐑 Even though there are no eating drinking aigns, the seat/table inside the booth were spilled with coffee, so I have stained my clothes. I came back to them with a complaint, and they suggested to take some water and go. I said I need to get my clothing cleaned so ask for some refund. This is when things got weird, the boss came out from the back said I came in dirty and they are not reponsible for this. Then he gave me 14€ refund (out of 35€ price) and said to never come back again. Service, is very poor, watch out.
