Lovely sandy for walks and reasonably priced parking but not the biggest car park in the world so in the summer months there may be over flowing car parks. But lovely beach.👍 Lovely, clean beach. When the tide was out there was a thin later of water on top of the sand, with gorgeous reflections of the clouds. A good place to swim or just enjoy the views. It's a short from the castle and cathedral. There is a playground next to it and a place to get ice cream and toasties, so it's great for families! If you’re courageous enough you can even venture deeper into the water, seems shallow for quite a long distance, I myself haven’t been brave enough.
