It's as much fun now as it was back then. Plenty of pocket money coin machines. £1 of 2p pieces kept our 2 boys busy for ages. A lot of machines churn out tickets for the to collect then redeem for wee toys at the end of their visit. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy premises. Kept the missus amused 😂 If you're into 2p/10p coin pusher machine you'll be happy. For kids, some machines dispense tickets for wins that can be redeemed for prizes. We go here every year , friendly and nice and close to the sea. There's a above it to which we go to first before wasting a few hours being child like on the amusements My family and I decided to go for lunch at the upstairs. we walked upstairs there was a beautifully decorated Christmas Tree in the hall and walking into the all decorated with Xmas Tree and Decorations was very warm and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely 💯 delicious. Freshly made and we could not fault any of the dishes and there was 6 of us. Decent portions and reasonably priced as well! Thank You for making our Lunch Meet Up a Great experience! We will definitely be back. The had a Great time after the meal downstairs at the Amusements. As a family we brought our here when they were young and they have good memories and now we are bringing their so they do as well! Great way to spend some time. Wide selection of machines for all ages including an over 18s area. We were especially excited to find the SpongeBob machine! There’s an incredible bouncy castle adjacent which keeps entertained for 30 minutes. Staff are friendly and helpful, always on hand to fix any issues like tickets running out or 2p prize wins getting jammed. Very patient and helpful when exchanging tickets for prizes too which many options on offer. Brilliant upstairs and ice cream parlour downstairs in the arcade. Shouldn't they all be on it was around 11am not early at all. I asked if there was a and we went up there instead the looks nice as you walk in and the staff seemed nice we ordered two coffees they arrived in dirty cups rim covered in fluff and the coffee was awful very bitter. When leaving the staff were doing a relay up the stairs with stock wasn't safe at all trying to get down the same stairs. All in all a very depressing place to visit. Thank you to the lady that was on tonight Saturday the 28th off October my two grandsons were in before closing my wee grandson was having fun playing the 2p machine she had to open it a few times to retrieve the small winnings my older grandson said you were awesome so thank you for making me wee man’s night Didn't visit the amusements, but the cafe/restaurant upstairs. Lovely decor etc, nice views over the beach and sea. Ordered fish and chips, they were £13 each. Got order and its frozen fish, very very small and not meaty, more mushy. (like a bit of youngs frozen fish!) Only saving grace was the chips, they were half decent. Pots of tea were meant to come with the fish and chips but completely forgotten about so had to ask for it myself. Cups for tea were filthy, cloudy and brown residue on bottoms, asked for clean ones, got told they are all the same but they just need sterilised in Milton tablets, its staining....Who wants to drink from a cloudy brown glass? Especially after paying almost £70 for meals and juice!! Bearing in mind these are glass mugs, they don't stain unless they aren't being cleaned properly each time in the first place? Make of that what you will. Anyway, won't be back. Shame, as its in a prime location beachfront and could have been so much better.
