I visited with my three children who are 6, 8, and 10. They loved playing in the stream and catching and releasing tadpoles. The views were amazing. We walked part of the hike but had to turn back halfway due to time constraints. The trail was also lovely, a bit steep and rocky terrain at times, but perfectly doable for older kids. I would definitely recommend a visit here. Beautiful during the winter time, bring your sneakers to explore the cave more closely. Also, very beautiful during the summer time, you can go to the end of the rift and swim in the river. Very refreshing Wonderful Canyon with difficult walking. You should park in the village because it's not aloud to drive inside. Either way you walk about 1.5 km before you begin going down to the canyon. It's about 200 meter height difference from the moment you begin going down until you reached the canyon. The place itself is gorgeous but then you got to climb all the way up. Still it worth the effort. Very easy hike full of things to see. Very easy to spot small animals and plenty of various places to explore. Lots of water spots and shade. Dangerous to go with bad weather. This is very impressive. Definitely recommend. Kids friendly. Just take into account that parking is a bit far, there prohibitive signs to get closer, so if you dare to get a ticket you can park really next to the entrance (see google maps) otherwise it is extra 15 min walk, but in any case it worth it. A side note. I travel with electric car and now there are places to charge in near proximity. Give it 4 stars only because of inconvenient parking.
