Electric is on a preloaded card, pay for what you use when you leave. We used £12.50 worth over three nights. Weather was roughly 18°C day and 8°C nights so the heater was ticking over in the evenings. Hope to return sometime 2026. Had a lovely weekend stay at this campsite with our dog at late notice, the were very accommodating and managed to get us in despite a very busy weekend! Great facilities and location, a shop inside reception for any bits you might’ve forgotten to bring with you. Nice quiet pitch and not too far away from the facilities. Lovely field at the end of the to take the dog for a few quick circuits in safety before settling down for the night and in the morning. Great base for Abergavenny, Sugar Loaf/Skirrid and beyond, or towards Monmouth, River Wye. Highly recommend this site, the ablutions and are spotless, friendly staff, pay as you go electric which for one nights stay cost us £1. £28 for a campervan and 2 people, great value for money. There's an adult only section, dog walking area, shop with all the basics and situated next to the river. Within easy walking distance off road path is the Chain bridge pub, the food is exceptional and the service is excellent.
