Went here for a catch up lunch, staff was very warm and friendly, the location is beautiful and surrounded by picturesque views. There wasn't many vegan options and was standard, would have liked more options. My friend ordered and said their food was amazing however my meal left a lot to be desired. It's quite expensive Had the best meal at the Cripple Creek. Starters were Mozzarella Bruschetta & Thai Fish Cakes Mains were Fillet of Salmon served with crushed potato and white wine sauce & Mixed Grill. All were well presented and were really delicious - great service, high quality and great value for money. Didn't eat but customer service was lovely nice drink in the garden area highly recommended very clean lovely pub to visit We had a fab experience here. We called ahead to check if we could park our campervan overnight if we had a meal, they were fine with it and nice big flat car park that we could park out the way at the end, no problem. We had INCREDIBLE food. It’s like pub grub, but cooked really well with great quality. Good size portions, lovely staff. I asked for my lamb chops pink and it was cooked to perfection! Would definitely one again. A little on the pricey side but totally worth the price! Excellently kept beer! Lovely place ,great food and hospitality Today I visited the cripple creek inn for Sunday lunch. The meal was absolutely lovely, plenty of food in fact a bit too much but very nice. I will definitely be returning with the family another day. Well recommend it. Great family friendly place with big portions and really well-seasoned food. The pork chop was cooked perfectly with crispy skin, chips were spot on, and the sweet potato fries were a hit. The kids cleared their plates, pasta was good. Staff were friendly and handled the busy weekend well. Good value for money and definitely somewhere we’d go again Having enjoyed a lovely lunch back in summer, my family popped in for a quiet drink with our two well behaved dogs. There were only 2 other groups of people inside, but I still asked if it was okay to sit inside with our dogs. The young bar man asked an older lady, who I assume to be the manager, where could we sit. She was quite rude to him, telling him she was far too busy organising tables for the evening. Anyway, we were shown to a table and we enjoyed our drinks. We were thinking about ordering a second round when the manager brought a family to be seated at the table behind us. She wanted my parter to move out the way and made us all feel very unwelcome. So on that, we made a swift exit and won’t be returning. Very disappointing.
