Note that on winter to reach out the place it might be helpful to have chains for the car because of the snow. But it's truly worthy. For sure we will came back soon. I spent weekend with family with their hotel. They have really Polish food. It's not too greasy. Unfortunately, only Polish food. Very "pierogi". Tasty coffee and a beautiful view. A stay that is for the soul! A spectacular and beautifully designed small in the Gurski style at the top of a mountain with breathtaking views of the Tatras. There are hiking trails that lead directly from the through forests and the surrounding villages. The staff and owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Here you will find true Polish hospitality. The food was universally and hearty Polish fare with options for salad. The soups, the base of the Polish kitchen were extraordinary. There is also a beautifully designed spa with jacuzzi and sauna that offers a perfect finish to a day of hiking in the hills. One thing: due to all the off road vehicles driven by the locals in the area GPS will try to send you up a bad road that only off road vehicles or mountain goats could climb. Therefore set your gps to Skomielna czarna first and then to the hotel. I'll start with the things, the place is beautifully decorated, in an amazing location, magical view. The less things are that there is no organized room service, and there is no reception, which is strange. The room has no basic things, like an extra garbage, electrical outlets, and a mirror. The sheet on the bed is uncomfortable. What an awesome stay we had. We came all the way from the US for my cousins wedding. Met with my parents, my brother and his family. We spent 2 weeks in this amazing place. Eating delicious foods, drinking great tea and other things. The owners Teresa and Piotr are two of the most wonderful people you’ll ever meet. They are kind hearted and fun, full of spunk and great info. We left feeling like we gained more family members. We will definitely be back again. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are very luxurious, the location is unique and close to town. This place is something you don't want to miss. More people should experience such a special and unique accomodation. Rooms look nice and very clean, restaurant is absolutely breathtaking and the owners included all the details possible. SPA is small but gives all the privacy you need. Absolute blast! Keep it up guys..you're doing such an amazing job 👍👍👍 OMG, I arrived really late and was received by the host couple who built this amazing place recently in this amazing location. They made fantastic food even at the late hour. I even exchanged my Danish locally produced honey with their own produce, an unfair trade, since their quality and taste was actually way better. Next day the host took me for a short single trail mountain biking tour in the area. The room, the toilet, the room, spa facilities, cold shower, the vibe, the hosts, the view were just fantastic. We have recently moved to the area and trying all the local hotels whilst we renovate. This by far has been the best experience and probably tops the best stay I had in Poland on a whole. The owners were so kind and considerate. They viewed us all the rooms that they have recently finished and I understand why they were proud to show us round their new - all the rooms are fantastic, modern and finished to an extremely high level of comfort and luxury. The food tastes so fresh and delicious. (Cakes are a must! The Breakfast is delicious too) The is very clean and the staff were very professional, engaging, kind, attentive, and helpful and we had a fantastic weekend trip. The Salt Groto was also lovey in the morning whilst we drank our delicious coffee after breakfast and waited out the storm. I almost hate to leave such a review as I don’t want the world to find out about this little piece of heaven but it would be wrong to not highlight how wonderful the people are here and their fantastic hotel!
