Everything I ate here was excellent and the host is the best person ever :) Food was good for a really nice price. The service was really nice too. However at the time we were there the restaurant was almost empty, so the atmosphere was not really great. Auf der Heimfahrt aus dem Riesengebirge haben wir hier spontan einen Stop zum Mittagessen eingelegt. Von hier aus hat man einen super Panorama Richtung Schneekoppe. Das Restaurant selbst ist in traditioneller Blockhausbauweise erreichtet und hat gefühlt einen riesigen Innenraum. Das Grundstück ist ebenfalls riesig (wohl 60ha) und sehr gepflegt. Alles wirkt sehr neu. Essen kann man hier vor allem regionale Gerichte. Die Gerichte war sehr lecker und es gab wirklich reichliche Portionen zu günstigem Preis. Der Wirt war sehr nett und gesprächig. Wenn wir wieder mal in der Nähe sind, schauen wir bestimmt mal wieder rein. Wracając z wycieczki zobaczyliśmy przejazdem , fajna karczmę w której aż żal bylo się niezatrzymac , wybór okazał się strzałem w dziesiątkę, przestronne miejsce w środku oraz czysto , a co najważniejsze smacznie , na 5 posiłków nietrzeba bylo dlugo czekać , widać że właściciele wiedzą co robią. smacznie. If you are around Jelenia Góra, Karpacz -Karczma Gniewkow is definitely worth a try! It's managed by our friends and we have had a very nice dinner there!
