A beautiful for to roam free, our rescue cannot be off lead anywhere else, but here he can- and absolutely loves it. Such a wonderful place with facilities. Even if it was 7am! Good, secure field for exercising dogs. Fortunately, the ground was frozen when we were there, or it would have been very, very muddy!!! We have been taking our here for a while now and all 4 of them love it. We are happy in the knowledge it's a safe fof them to exercise in. However, we took them on Monday 6th Jan, and had to avoid some very large dog poos ( I mean very large) which hadn't been scooped. There were 3 separate piles, so i see no excuse for them not being noticed! This is the first it's happened. Normally users are very good at clearing up. In the interest of cleanliness we scooped it all as well as our own mess. A lovely secluded and fenced for An excellent and spacious enclosed dog field with all the facilities you require: a shelter, agility equipment, fresh lake with jetty, supply for dog water/cleaning, picnic bench, dog poo bags/bins, plenty of parking space. Our fourth visit and our love it. place to exercise your dog within an enclosed area. The orchard is beautiful. The Cove is for pups wanting to swim but without the worry of what's underneath or the waves of the sea splashing over them. Visited the cove 8:30am. First letting our new dog run free outside of our garden. He exploring and there were additions to make it a peaceful and interesting place to stop with him. the cute beach hut! Booking was easy and it was seamless to use once there. A concept! Brilliant trip, thank you 👏🏻👏🏻 Don’t want to praise it too much otherwise it’ll be too popular for me to book🤪 Well worth the trip from Colchester, Rascal and Cooper didn’t stop from the minute they arrived, absolutely worn out👍🏻 I took my 4 and my friends their 6 and they had a at the cove. I have a spaniel who loves and chasing birds so the beach isn’t an option. Will definitely book again when we are this way! at the cove first day of opening for the season . it What I can I say, our dog it here. We were really impressed with the facilities and set up (e.g. secure gate, waiting area). We booked the Cove and it exceeded our expectations - really well kept, loads of space, the brilliant pond and even a summer house with deck chairs! Our dog is reactive so we don’t always get to enjoy the beach so it was lovely to let him roam about and experience paddling about. He was even brave enough to get into the deeper and have his first swim. I really wished we lived closer as we’d be coming frequently (we were on holiday!). I think our dog might be a baby 😂😂 . Thank you to the owners for making this such a happy place for 🐶 would really recommend! Amazing place that’s worth every penny. Our lurcher is a rescue and the pool was the perfect safe place to see what he was like in the (not very graceful haha). We’re definitely taking him back to get more practice. The it and we liked the freedom and privacy of the field. Definitely recommend! In my opinion a really good meadow. Just a little smaller than others. Next we go I'll make sure there was no rain for a few days, but that's the english weather for you. I've been a couple of times now. It's a safe for your dogs. There's no chance of confrontation with the next group in, as there's two separate parking areas - one for waiting and the second you park and can open doors straight into the dog area. Clean, dog bags provided, bins. There's even a little hit to shelter in if it's pouring down. Didn't give 5 stars as the bank to the dog pool is clay soil and can get v muddy. Really lovely, secure to bring our pup when recall training. Easy to get in and out with the car, access via keypad entry. Was a bit disappointed last visit that some previous dog owners hadn’t cleared up after their dogs, particularly given there is a supply of poo bags in the hut and there’s a bin in the field 🙄 A space, but perhaps not the best of the year to go. The ground was very muddy, which didn’t bother my dog, but it did make walking around a bit difficult. Fortunately there was a hose to wash both boots and paws before we left. We took our three here today (the cove) and all three absolutely it had a lovely swim and then used the agility to dry off before getting back in the car , will definitely be coming back Absolutely beautiful place , my have a time. Everything is set up beautifully, poo bags provided and bins & even shelter for us humans to hide from the rain if need be. I will definitely be back thank you. 🙂 Took my dog and my daughters two to the orchard they had a fab time, loads of for them to run around and burn off some energy, my only issue was other dog owners leaving their mess for others to pick up! I took my here on my birthday, as I’d heard it was a spot and id wanted to visit for a long time. It’s a very very fun place to take the dogs. My lab and my spaniel both it and would stay all day long if they had the choice! I also liked the fact there is a life buoy ring on standby, should the start panicking/ struggling. It was a bit muddy as we’ve gone in the wet winter days, but thats to be expected and also adds to the fun!! Will definitely be visiting again! Maybe even this weekend!!
