Been here a few times over the last few months having not been for several years. I've had the waffles, hot cookie dough, bubble tea and hot drinks as well as some gelato cones. All have come exactly as asked and are delicious. The staff are quite friendly and helpful if you ask for specifics. They'll take you to a table once you enter which is practice. I used to walk past here often so I'm glad I've started coming back. Not often I do one star reviews as would rather say nothing but this was terrible experience from start to finish. From the tatty menus we were supplied with first off. To basic drink menu items not available . The counters were dirty as were staff uniforms. Our order was incorrect. Ice-cream brought out that had defrosted and been refrozen. Cutlery wrapped in dirty wet napkins. Crepe only cooked on one side. Disinterested staff when I tried to complain. They don't deserve their franchise. 3 drinks, 2 desserts one of which a kids one for £24 won't be back! Edit after contacting kaspas head office 3 times no response other that we acknowledge your email and will come back to you but never have. Would change to zero stars if I could Place has definitely gone downhill, the toilets were disgusting, poo all over the front of the sink basin. We went shortly after they had opened so clearly the toilets had not been cleaned. No complaints on the taste of the food but clearly the place needs a deep clean as later that day I became very sick and all I had eaten that day was food from here. I have never had such a delicious desert or ice cream ever in my life.. The menu was wonderful.. staffs and service were amazing. Once must visit with friends or family It is open it 11.00pm . Near by Ipswich bus stop. Seating arrangement and atmosphere was lovely. Overall a well rounded dessert shop located centrally and never too busy to be able to seat you. The options available are vast and they are willing to allow amendments to their menu items for you. This is a location for either a dessert after a meal at another location or having as a main course depending on how much you would like to buy. From crêpes and waffles to banana splits they have something for everyone. I would recommend if you are looking for a dessert or milkshake in Ipswich. Love this place. The only issue is that in the summer, it is extremely hot and stuffy especially near the entrance by the window seats. The air con is located further back in the place so it’s not so bad there but it’s not fair on customers if they are seated in a very hot area by the windows, which can put people off of their food due to being too hot and sweaty. There seems to be nobody in there when I tend to go, so luckily I am not put in a situation where I am stuck in a hot area. Delivery of items is not up to the required standard. I purchased one of the more premium desserts which was delivered in a polystyrene style burger box. The sauce had leaked out of the box all over the other items and inside the bag, the dessert was a mess when opening the box. For what they charge the packaging needs to be more thought out and better for delivery. Apparently this was not enough to warrant a refund. I will not order from here again. Update: After reaching out to Kaspas as they asked, nothing was done and they only blamed it on delivery company. Avoid this place. Great food, Great service, Great Quality! I visited Kaspa's on Halloween night with a few of my close friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the scrumptious food which we had for our desert. The staff and workers were extremely polite and overall the service was top tier. I myself had the strawberry and creme waffle. This desert I was describe as simply perfect. There was a splendid balance between the strawberry and the cream combining with the waffle for an elegant taste. The price was not cheap but the food most certaintly delivered in quality. I would highly recommend and I will defintely be coming back. Thank you! Absolutely brilliant! Service was great, we were seated quickly and the staff were welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The booths were comfortable, spacious and private and the whole vibe and decor of the restaurant was very cosy and fun! Food came quickly with presentation and was delicious; really flavours and textures. Portion sizes were also great for the price! Couldn't recommend enough as a desert restaurant, we will definitely be returning! Hands down the worst customer service experience I've ever had. The woman taking orders looked like she just lost a fight with a wet fish—completely uninterested, like a zombie who forgot to drink its coffee. She didn't say a word, just plopped our plates at the end of the table like she was dealing cards at a poker game. I half expected her to pull out a bell and announce, 'Dinner is served... somewhere over there.' Honestly, I think she missed her calling; she’d be a hit at an undertaker's convention. And let's talk about the food. My cookie dough was so undercooked it was practically auditioning for a role on 'Raw Dough: The Musical.' Apparently, this is normal here—maybe they’re aiming for a Michelin star in the 'Unfinished Food' category? As for the manager, well, he was as clueless as a goldfish in a desert. At least the fish would have an excuse! Dirty and poorly maintained environment, employees' clothes are dirty, with crepe batter on the counter where the cash register is located. The place needs a team that, in addition to doing the necessary tasks, cleans the environment in which they work. The dessert is good, but the environment needs a lot of improvement! Only delivered half of my order, the main things which were the milkshakes didn’t turn up. Delivery driver said the restaurant only handed him the donuts. The cronut I ordered was meant to come with strawberry gelato which was melted by the time it arrived due to poor packaging. Couldn’t even phone the store as there number comes up as incorrect. Definitely will not be ordering from here again. Food tastes amazing, Super nice people and they give discounts. The atmosphere is beautiful. Me and my heavily pregnant girlfriend popped in here quickly so she could use the bathroom, first asked the manager to use the bathroom and said shes pregnant and really had to go. He said customers only and i repeated shes pregnant and had no choice but to go so she went into a cubicle. The manager then proceeds to start shouting and screaming about having to ask, incredibly unprofessional and outright rude, especially when it was the first thing we did. I’m not sure where this guy is from and maybe it’s okay to do that in his country but it’s just basic manners and understanding to let a pregnant lady use the bathroom. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here. Don't order bubble tea, it is horrible. The tapioca is served crushed. It felt worse than it tasted, like eating soggy bread that fell on the sink. Very very kind servers and even gave us free icecream. Will definitely come back soon and recommend everyone try go here. Food was delicious and filling, thank you! ☺️😊 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
