Lovely place to spend a few hours, plenty of parking, toilets , lovely river running through with lots of ducks and fish and very clear water.theres a restaurant on site which does the usual lunch deal ...it's more expensive if you sit in the restaurant rather than the cafe and both areas have air con. Entry and parking is free. There are also several free water Taos around the A wonderful city park, perfect to have a walk, to do jogging or just relax and see the birds. The church is closed most of the time but the inside can easily be seen by the main door. Great place to visit , boat ride underground in a big cave with spectacular formations to wonder at, great light show with music. Photo's/videos allowed in certain places. Well worth a visit. Currently, (March 2023), there is a lot of work going on to replace an extensive area of paving but we have visited a number of times this month as it is a central location for many of the Fallas celebrations. Many of the parades and ceremonies are based here. It is also the Monday morning market place, lots of stalls from fruit and vegetables to clothing, very much a meeting place for the people of La Pobla too. There is a children's play area, a number of restaurants and cafés, plenty of seating, green areas and lovely plants and trees yet very close to La Pobla's wonderful high Street and the Town Hall area. Our house in Spain is just outside the town, we love it here and on our visits, feel privileged to be accepted here and enjoy all the wonderful pride that the people of La Pobla clearly feel for their lovely town and culture. Very historic place with a rich history, greatly enjoyed by the locals. Great outdoor space. Fascinating fresh spring waters welling up through the bottom of the pool,easily visible. An on site church tells the story of the places origin in tiles on the wall.
