Good parking. Friendly welcome. The firework display was fantastic tonight, very well organised event I've lived in the area for many years and never knew this existed. What a find and what a place to go for a walk. Lovely quiet little place. Has a coffee shop bit didn't go in so not sure what food/snacks they serve Appears to be a bike track next to the and a decent if the kids still have energy It's right next to the path that runs from Ystrad all the way to Swansea too so you can along the if you like. Basically a lovely place Nice for all. Upgraded play area. Cafe with disabled toilet facilities. Football pitch that is currently being protected by the teams. Caged courts and tennis court. Car parking. Sunday canoe is a good crack for a fiver 🤣 It's great. Especially as it's right on the canal/cycle route 43. There's a cafe in the pavilion too! A large and lovely park. Clean and well maintained with ball fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, and fabulous walking paths. It's really quite nice for the whole family! Makes for a by the in both directions. You can pretty much all the way from Ystradgynlais to Swansea passing through this park. The whole which ever part you join is lovely at any time of the year. with a nice coffee shop. Take a stroll up the canal. For a lazy afternoon or hire a canoe or kyack Fab new community eating and meeting building, so smart with fab eating areas inside and outdoors. Fantastic as usual, the girls decided to leave parc gwernfadog this morning around 10 o'clock. They pushed their scooters (not the electric variety I may add)the 2.2 miles to the parc. We soaked up the sunshine and marvelled at some of the wildlife along the path. We played around for an hour or so before we decided to crack out the mini picnic. Feeling fully charged it was soon time to make our return journey via ynystawe parc. Parc coed gwilym certainly delivered again 👏. Two tired little ladles this evening, nos da. Large playing fields, tennis and basketball courts and two playgrounds with ample car parking. Provides easy access to the towpath and cycle route 43. A place to relax with the family. Went to Coed Gwilym with a group of people on the weekend and we weren't disappointed. Lovely food in the cafe served by a very cheerful man who volunteers his time to help out. The itself is beautifully kept with seating areas. A along the helped us work off our breakfast. All together a lovely experience and I will certainly visit again. atmosphere and well kept park. Nice cafe there also so can get a good coffee and relax. I've been to Coed Gwylim many times with many people, we go on outlr bikes as there is an excellent BMX course outfitted with dirt jumps wich vary from time to time as people change them. If you live near by I'd highly recommend cycling down and going on the BMX course, its completely free and much better with friends. There is also a kids playground situated opposite the BMX, I've never personally used anything in there but young children sound like they enjoy. A cafe is also open at certain times selling a variety of snacks.
