The pub has a atmosphere, perfect for a get together! Visited Deer's leap with our lads for lunch we hadn't been for a while. Nice relaxed atmosphere were very and helpful. We had some food, only one issue where the burger buns were quite charred, explained to the who were really helpful and they changed quickly with no fuss. The food then came and was very tasty and cooked perfectly, very for the price. Pool and darts there too which the lads enjoyed. Overall nice lunch and we would go back. Beautiful food, quick service, loads of parking, clean toilets, we will be back, smaller meal for me next time pub with bar staff! Been to the Leap many times with friends and family. Took 6 of our residents here for lunch yesterday. Food was lovely , our table was in a location, was and had a lovelywelcome, we shall be coming back 😀 Orderd our food and was not told there was a wait so expected fast 50 minutes later was wondering were food was so asked and apparently they were just playting it up or an excuse to say they forgot us food was terrible my sons beans were rock hard and had to ask for fresh also mums steak was like a pair of boots and my pork tomahawk was salty as anything I'm not one to complain as people were fantastic but if you want terrible food definitely recommended hear I've been going to the leap weekly, or more, for at least 20 years. In the last couple of years the food has improved massively. We have not had 1 bad meal and the food is always of a lovely standard. Last night, we did the weekly quiz, which is always fun. Brandon, who did the quiz, was fab. We had commented on him earlier in the evening on how he was when serving and how he even came over to check if we'd like a bucket of ice to keep our wine cold. The customer was amazing, our server was called Hannah and she was very polite, helpful and well mannered. She spoke kindly to my children and wished them a Happy Christmas which I appreciated very much! I will be returning soon! I visited the Dears leap with family, the pub has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the food was great. I was served by Kerry, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and provided outstanding despite the pub being extremely busy. Fantastic day had by all and would definitely recommend! We came down on a Monday afternoon to use our Christmas gift cards on dinner. We had an amazing meal from Chef Raff! The fish and chips are amazing followed up with the garlic bread! 🤩🤩 I came in at 3 PM for a meal with my partner. The server who served us, Brandon, was really polite, giving us lots of recommendations on the menu. He made our experience here a lot more enjoyable as we were able to have a laugh whilst enjoying some well prepared food. After receiving our order, he came to check on us to make sure that everything was okay and asked if we would like any more drinks. All in all, it was a really positive experience, and I'll definitely be visiting again in the near future. Kayla went above & Beyond for Customer tonight for me my steak was undercooked. I didn't want to send it back so she treated me to a drink as a sorry for the inconvenience and it was much appreciated. customer excellent customer service. Defiantly recommend. I went to the Leap with 5 friends today to escape the heavy showers. We ordered our meals from the 2 for £13 menu. We had 2 gammon meals, 1 sausage and 3 fish and chips. The meals were delicious and excellent value. The were, as always, and helpful. A lunch in a relaxing atmosphere. Why do you put the fish on a piece of paper? I would rather not have a soggy piece of paper on my plate. That is the only negative comment I have. Save the cost of the paper…I’m sure no-one would object.
