Amazing experience! We‘ve stayed in „L‘observatoire“, the treehouse almost 11 meters high, only accessible via 2 ladders. The treehouse has everything you need (except a shower, which is located 20 meters away). They made the most out of the little space there is. This treehouse is definitely for adventurous people without fear of heights. It’s a lovely place in terms of location. The cabin was well thought out and equipped with everything you might need. However if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, I would not recommend this place. The cabins are all very close to one another, and if you’re not hearing the other people and their children all the time (can be VERY noisy) - you hear the stuff cleaning or bossing around. So there’s no quiet time alone with nature. Imagine a camping and all kind of neighbors… Absolutely amazing and charming place! The house was very comfortable, clean, well equipped. The neighbourhood was lovely! The entire family loved it! For sure we will come back :) I can only recommend Nids des Vosges because the different cabins in the threes are all different and each of them has their own personality and style ... there are bigger cabins and smaller cabins but all of them are really charming. Maybe a little bit far out in the country side but OK, you cannot build such a nice place close to a bigger city. Last but not least a very friendly staff and management !! Nid des Vosges is a wonderful place. We’ve heard about it from friends and saw the pictures on the website, but the place was even better than our expectations. It was a beautiful experience. The staff is very kind. We were welcomed by Marie, she showed us the cabin and explained everything, we could see she loves being there and what she does. The cabin was very cozy and had a wonderful eucalyptus smell in the air. Sleeping up in the trees in a very comfortable cabin was a magical experience. Waking up and seeing the forest in front of us was amazing. We had a big balcony right in the middle of the trees. In the morning we received bread and croissants in a basket that we’ve pulled up with a rope up the tree. We took a long beautiful walk in the forest and after we did a session in the sauna. They prepared everything very well, with music, towels and aromatic herbs essence. We’ve recommended Nid des Vosges to our friends, it’s the perfect place to have a beautiful quiet time, connect with nature and recharge our energies.
