Great farm holiday. 50m walking, and you are standing in nature. Hardworking and friendly Farmers. Nice, quit location, between the dunes and the polder, perfect holiday house. We go here every year with christmas and we always have an amazing experience! We stayed in a group accommodation. It was cozy and comfertable Excellent and quiet location (we stayed in the "Hooiberg''-a 6-person appartement with two toilets, a roomy bathroom, a woodburning stove and a nice spacey living room. The kitchen is pretty basic. We had to call for the bath- and bed-linnen we payed for. And we entered a very cold appartement; clearly the house hasn't been used yet in a week and it was very cold in the first few hours. So for the location and the rooms it's 9/10, the service/reception was 6/10. The Island itself is great and the village is charming with nice places to eat (try Wad Anderz). What a great location. Very quiet with amazing farm animals, great glamping experience. We really loved it and will definitely come back. The best was the shower in the tent. And the beds and the terrace. Over all we rate this a 10 stars A perfect place to relax. Schiermonnikoog is a beautiful island, and the Kooiplaats is a really nice place to stay, to watch the surroundings, to enjoy the silence. People very nice, all the services available, and the fireplace experience... Simply beautiful!!
