It's a nice pier, because the whole area is nice. It enables you to go out a bit further to take pictures of the coastline. The itself is very small though and quite basic. Beautiful pier, it gets quite windy but it gives you a great view of the beach and the ocean! Not much too the pier, you get to view the coastline from a bit further out and not get wet. McDonald's KFC Ocean Basket etc Food is good, mostly tavernas and restaurants have properly conditions to take a good meal. Single problem I found is the lack of original cypress seafood cuisine. At the end of the you can see the whole of Larnaca bay and the beach front known as the Finikouthes (palm trees). There is a medieval castle also along with an old mosque. You can just see the tower. Look back up the and in the distance a Greek Orthodox church known as Saint Lazaros church were there is an basement floor housing the tomb of Lazaros himself through a glass cover that attracts many pilgrims to visit. Also the airport is beyond the medieval castle and planes come in from the sea direction to land at the airport only 400 feet approximately as make their decent. But be careful of the boardwalk because over time they are not even. Well worth a visit. A great place to hang out and see the beautiful and calm waters of the Mediterranean.
