Reasonable option for outdoor thermal waters when in Băile Herculane Resort, but poor attitude of the hosts, who are treating you in an akward and arrogant way, which makes overall experience here very poor... ----- Later edit: I've been there during daylight (13:00 pm), when we were treated in a bad manner... not how the owner(s) try to alter the truth, or mistaking this situation with other dispute he/they had. I will point out that we came in Baile Herculane Resort especially for this this location (we choose even the accommodation close to the swimming pool), as last year, when was less advertising and the site still under development, the attitude we encounter was fair enough to make us want to come back again. Due to this poor attitude from the visit few days ago, we shortened our staying to this resort, leaving one day earlier. The meaning of my review is not to engage in a controversy with the owners, but to make them understand that tourism involves responsabilities from both parts. I visited many parts of the world, tens of places which offers different tourist options and services, but people from "Terasa termală La Mâțu" acts like ill-mannered and arrogant landlords ruining what ought to be a wonderfully quaint and charming atmosphere... There are three thermal pools and basic facilities in a garden-like location framed by picturesque mountains. The receptionist was super friendly and smiley. You are allowed multiple entries on the same day with the same ticket. Piscină privată cu apă termală în aer liber, unde ai la dispoziție șezlonguri, duș, cabine de schimb, toalete și un minibar cu bere, răcoritoare, cafea etc. Am fost si anul trecut iar anul acesta ne-a impresionat plăcut faptul că ni s-a dat in schimbul unei sume de 35 lei brățară si am putut ieși și intra de mai multe ori in aceeași zi. Apa din bazine a fost schimbată și ne-am putut îmbăia in toate cele trei bazine. Recomand! My parents loved it here. Ok Super cool and so relaxing! We paid 15 lei for multiple entries during the cold season. There are no great amenities, but everything is decent, even great for the price. Clean and with amazing views from the pool place The water is grate, the smell of sulphur gives you a hint that you arrived at your're destination. We stayed for about 2 h. In all 3 basins you can find sulphurous water but the temperature differs. The card payment wasn't availlable. Super Ok Very nice, comfortable, big place, warm water, nice local people. We can enjoy the mountains view, bird songs. Cultre environment. 😊🤗 bună dimineața ,am fost ieri la piscină la Mâtu împreună cu soția ,am platit 50 lei pt ambi fără bon fiscal ( dar trecem peste ),dupa care ne-am îndreptat către piscină , am incercat sa folosim dușurile ...acestea aveau numai apă rece ,cand am intrat in piscina din fibra APA ERA ORIBILA ....TOT FELUL DE FRUNZE NAILOANE MICI SI NISIP ...( ÎMPUȚITĂ ) ..AM STAT 15 MINUTE după care am plecat in căutarea altui loc pentru relexare si tratament ....nu recomand sub nici o formă ...
