We attended the Mayor's Charity Appeal Concert in November 2024. It was a great evening. This was my first visit to Thornden Hall and it was a very pleasant experience. The toilets were clean, which is important to me. The staff were friendly. A nicely built multipurpose auditorium. Used for a range of performances including orchestra, dance Etc. Comfortable seating and easy access. Reachable by bus or a car very easily as well. Good acoustics and good lines of sights from seats. Recommended! Came for a youth orchestra performance and was really impressed. The concert hall is a lovely space, and the venue as a whole is clean and well managed. The acoustics are good, and the seating is comfortable. Will definitely go again if something good is on. First time we had been to Thorden Hall, what a fabulous venue. We could not have been looked after better the staff were amazing and PP Arnold was the icing on the cake. Overall definitely 5 stars truly memorable evening, we've already booked another 2 shows. Huge hall with amazing acoustics.. clean bathrooms and well laid out inside. Massive field adjacent to hall with plenty of parking on site. Great venue, seat banking is steep enough that all seats have good view of the stage. We are so lucky to have this incredible facility in Chandlers Ford. From live concerts, theatre screenings & amateur shows, the production is always the highest quality and the staff are all lovely. Great venue, lots of parking and good seats. Professional performance which we enjoyed very much.The use of the lights really enhanced the simple yet effective costumes.
