A very pretty and tranquil place to enjoy a walk. There’s a big lake - with lots of happy - and little streams, as well as walks through the woodland and plenty of benches to rest too. A very and beautiful spot. So A small, scenic set of lakes and streams with good woodland walks for dogs around the perimeter, wildlife and fish in the lake. Pleasant around the lake to see the ducks. Could do with a small cafe on the around A nice walk, some parts have obviously been waterlogged during the rain and they're still pretty soggy in places! There has been a lot of tree felling going on but as my first trip I don't know why. A decent if short walk, but nice to explore somewhere different from usual. Today the lakes had partially frozen which resulted in that could on water as they skated across the ice! Beautiful lakes in the middle of this quiet village. Rats Really beautiful place, woodland walks, a lake, fishing spots, and restorative. Such a beautiful place to around, with lots of benches to rest on, or just ponder the stunning surroundings. Nice place to and enjoy nature Good fishing in a pleasant location. Good roach and perch (red maggot works well). Tench and carp can be elusive. And yes, there are some small pike in there. Quite a snaggy place to fish with submerged branches and twigs, plus overhanging trees in most swims (hence not 5 stars). Plenty of wildlife, including ducks, kingfishers, dragonflies, etc. Can be noisy at times with passers by, dog walkers and school kids, but generally during the week. Fishing pegs aren't too muddy and many are flat enough for those fishing from a wheelchair. All in all, well worth the annual license fee (available from Homestores tackle), especially if you live locally. Work to clear overgrown trees and erect fences has recently finished and the surrounding woods are nice to through. The two lower lakes can be seen more clearly and paths are in the process of being resurfaced. Nice place to walk! Nice area to go for a walk, peaceful, shady trails to explore. However it's not a huge area, but can do more than one lap, choosing different paths too. Lovely particularly on a sunny day. Set in a lovely area in Chandlers Ford, ample parking, with benches for a sit down of needs be. Not vastly huge but a slow wander and you feel like you've had a great walk. to feed so remember to take some food for them. Has some potential for improvement as some areas looked unkempt but overall a little gem tucked away and worth a visit.. First time we'd been for a few years and very nice and to round. Looks good after the work done on it recently. Saw a heron! Great place to visit with children and adults, feed the and other wildlife e.g seagulls. Nice in the summer. But wet underfoot in some areas. If you have wellies take them or good walking shoes. There are wooden benches around the lake. Dogs are allowed but need to be on a lead. Nice little in lovely surroundings. Small area perfect for my lunchtime whilst at work. There are beaches dotted around so plenty of seating. Seems to be quite popular with people. Lovely around the old Victorian lakes and stream. Huge fish jumping out of the water. Normal greedy and many other birds. Take some fish food if you want to see the fish jumping because the water is not very clear to see them otherwise. Enjoy.
