We stopped off here briefly on our way from north Somerset to West Sussex. We parked in the free car park and walked over to this nicely appointed place. We simply wanted a morning coffee (flat whites and cappuccinos) which we ordered at the counter and the same pleasant young lady brought our drinks to our table. We took a rain check on their snacks which looked lovely if rather pricey. All good Lovely little cafe, deli & farm shop. Individual, tasty menu great for lunch & pit stop en route to Devon. Great cheeses in the deli and limited but quality veg in the shop. Friendly service and much better than a service station on a long journey! Nice food in the cafe, good deli counter. Interesting cheeses, etc. Small menu but several options for lunch. Lovely coffee and lunch arrived shortly after my toastie was full of filling and I also had a lovely salad with it. Mum had potatoes, cheese and bacon, it which did have a name she enjoyed. Good portion. Shared a slice of ginger cake which was delicious. Lovely café/restaurant and friendly staff - great food and cakes and a really nice shop to look around Always stop here on my long journeys, perfect place to pick up a coffee, was beautiful in the sunshine today under the canopy. So much choice for farm foods inside. Thank you!! Thoroughly enjoyed the tasty meal, friendly service and spacious down-to-earth ambience. It is a great deli and farm shop that does superb coffee and offers lovely food to eat outside under a posh tent. It's a really nice place to stop off on your way to Salisbury. Lovely place to meet and chat. Food is quite expensive but usually good. My quiche was tasty but a little underdone with a soggy bottom! Lovely little find! You think you are driving into a farmyard but tucked in a corner theres a fab cafe and shop. We only had coffee but the full breakfast looked great. Will try that next tine I am so lucky to live locally to Bird & Carter. It has the most amazing, delicious and exciting array of food and goodies to offer. The team that work there are always (literally always) so friendly, knowledgeable and warm I always wish I could stay for longer and chat with them, a really lovely bunch. Everything about a Bird & Carter experience is 5 star, I always feel special visiting them and leave feeling like I have had a proper treat.
