Plenty of seating and a walk around the perimeter to view the rivers meeting. A tranquil and scenic place with lovely garden planting and trees. There is a children's playground. There is a shallow stream that runs through the centre of the that is ideal for having a paddle in. There is a pay and display car next to the with public toilets. This is right at the City centre and is ideal all year round for leisure strolls, running, dog walking and the occasional bird watching when the season is right. There's loads of paid parking on site and around. There is also a public toilet facility. The has swings, slides and benches. When Im board, or when the kids are sick of shopping....its a great place to come and unwind. Especially when its sunny. There is a park, plenty of space to have a picnic and some water features as well....very easy to relax and unwind. There is plenty of benches and a regular ice cream van that parks on the entrance if your coming from town. A few festivals happen here every so often as well....well worth the trip is the suns out and you want to take a load off. Its about a 10minute walk from the centre of town. Nice small playground next to the lovely park. Parking is just nearby, city centre only few minutes walking away. Great place for families:) Loverly place it's our favourite place to go in the summer. Put down a blanket and stay all day he always makes a friend to play in the water with. Finding fish or strange looking stones but basically kids having fun. There is normally an ice cream truck. There are toilets, but these are pay for and disgusting like horrendous. The playground is okay. Lots of wildlife, it really is a pretty place to just relax. Parking, if you are lucky, you might get space in the carpark next to it, but there is the central carpark not far away. Lovely in the centre of Salisbury with the river running through it... Flooded the day we visited, but still beautiful! Plenty of benches and a children's play and a gorgeous cafe across the street! I have loved this place for over 60 years. A wonderful place all year round and fascinating throughout the seasons. I personally would like to see less rubbish left lying around, but the council do a lot of hard work keeping the grounds looking good. Opposite the rivers island, instead of the bank regularly becoming a swamp, there could be a wide step made into the water, for younger bathers. Some repairs are required to the bridges and the rivers would benefit from being cleared of rubbish, building waste and debris. Really lovely walk around the doing a Treasure Trail.
